“I hit it a few times,” she shrugged. “Or at least, I think I did. It was probably more like a few inches off.”

"I think I hit it twice at least," Shade squints at the target, "And I missed once horribly."

Blaine continued to watch in bored silence. Watching people do archery just simply wasn't as fun as getting to do it yourself.

Cyrus had finished his reading and was now stretched out on one of the steps, back on the stone. He stared up at the sky as he took bites of the apple, the freshness of it soothing his queasy stomach. His teeth were slightly sharper than a normal persons would be, as he grew them out a tad to help him bite into the fruit.
