“This place is quite big, so no one will care if you get lost a few times,”
“At least they understand”
Matthew huffed a laugh, “Yeah, basically where we are now are all the rooms for the people staying here. This chamber and the next one along.” He said, waving hand to the many rooms on either side.
“Okay” he said awkwardly, holding back a look around since he couldn’t actually see anything as they were still in Joques room.
“Come on.” Matthew said walking out of the room, “We’ve got a lot of places here and of you want to see them all before dinner then hurry up!”
“I’m coming!” He said rushing out the door grabbing his keys as he went out the door.
Matthew grinned, “Like I said, just rooms down here. But the fun stuff is this way.” He said, speeding up a little.
(Just realized I started my statement and ended it the exact same way. My bad. Ignore my sloppy, tired writer making an appearance)
Joque follows, looking around this time because he’s out where he can see the other rooms.
“The games room is just down that hall,” Matthew said, waving a hand idly in the direction, “Dinner Hall is that way.” He pointed, “We all have to eat together but demons, humans and the scientists all sit at different tables,”
“Diverse but segregated. Okay. Got it” he said looking toward the Dining Hall.
“It’s kinda disappointing as some of you guys are really nice.” Matthew said with a sigh.
“Then let’s break the trend. I don’t have any demon friends. Actually I don’t have any friends anymore since I joined here” Joque said, wanting to be rebellious.
“We then we’ll sit together at dinner, see what happens, eh?” Matthew said, continuing to walk down the many halls.
Joque followed Matthew down the halls exvitrd to show everyone that trends are meant to be broken.
Soon after the tour was over Matthew headed with Josue to the games room. He took a deep breath and opened the double doors, many people of all ages in there. Some looked at them, confused others just ignored them.
