Robin looked up startled and quickly recovered.
“Of course, umm. I mean of course you can sit there I didn’t mean that I minded…” she kind of trailed off and blushed.
“Sorry, I’m Robin.”
She said pushing her light brown hair away from her hazel eyes.
Robin knew there was something different about him and already she seemed to mess up completely.
Aaliyah stood in the hallway for a moment, debating with herself. She wasn't sure whether or not to trust Hunter–she knew he was a supernatural of some kind, but that didn't mean he was necessarily someone she should go to alone. Still, something in her–those instincts that she relied on so much–told her that she should go. Making her decision, she scrambled through the hallways to get to her next class.
"Thanks," Liam said, dropping his backpack under his desk and sliding into the chair. "I'm Liam." He gave her a small smile and got his books out–and realized suddenly, from her scent, that she wasn't human. He wondered if he should say anything. "You-are you–" He was saved from having to actually form a coherent thought as the teacher started class.
The day went by really fast, he didn't see Aaliyah in any of his other classes. at the end of the day he went to the back of the gym, where there are no cameras, (he figured this through a situation a long time ago), and awaited her arrival. The anxiety building up in his chest, theres no way she would come.
Robin smiled, Liam didn’t make fun of her, something seemed different about him though.
She thought she had to be the only one here but she was wrong.
Maybe when she talked to him she would ask him what he was.
Then again robin had only found out she was different a couple summers ago and her senses were not exactly on point.
Aaliyah tugged the strap of her backpack, weirdly at ease despite the fact that she should've been nervous. But very little scared her anymore, and besides, she was more curious about Hunter than anything. He seemed…like someone she wanted to get to know. Yeah. She wandered to the back of the gym; it was quiet except for the sound of her own footsteps and Hunter's heartbeat in her ears. He was anxious, she noted. "Hey," she called.
Liam drummed his pencil on the desk, leg shaking anxiously through the class period. When it finally ended, he grabbed Robin's wrist, though gently, before she could leave. "You're like me, aren't you?" he asked quickly, voice low. "You're different." His eyes glowed with the bright, electric blue of a beta wolf for a fraction of a second.
He saw her come around the corner and his heartbeat sped up. This was it. He was gonna show her who he really was. "Hey" he responded to her. He set his backpack on the ground and shrugged his jacket off, revealing giant black wings unfolding from his back. He shook them out and looked at her sheepishly.
She let her eyes flash gold for a moment.
“Yes… but how did you know?” She asked shaking his hand off. ”and what are you?”
Robin bit the inside of her cheek anxiously letting her sharp fang draw blood.
She had been doing this for as long as she could remember, it helped calm her down.
Her eyes widened slightly. "Oh," she breathed, and flicked her wrists, extending long, sharp claws as her eyes glowed a bright blue and her teeth lengthened into sharp fangs. "We're getting right to the point, then, huh?" she joked.
"You smell different," he said simply, casting a quick glance around to make sure no unwanted ears were listening. "And I'm a werewolf."
"s-sorry if that was a little direct. im a bit nervous if you couldnt tell" he let his voice drop off as he studied her eyes. they were the most captivating thing he had ever seen. he let out a breath and shook himself back to reality.
Her eyes widened and she almost smiled knowing that someone else was part wolf too though she only had some of the senses it was amazing knowing she wasn’t alone.
“I should have known, I didnt get the smelling sense of the wolf though so I couldn’t be sure.”
Robins heart pounded hoping she said the right thing.
Haruno walked into the hallway, filled with information she really didn't care to know. This school was… Different. Maybe it was just her imagination. Haruno walked down the hallway and nearly fainted when she saw two huge black… WINGS! She cautiously walked up to the… What was it? And blew her dark brown bangs off her face as she turned to see his face.
She saw a girl standing there, was she interrupting something? They were both intensely starring at each other. It didn't matter, she wasn't going walk by a boy with huge, black wings without some questions.
"WHATTHEHECKISONYOURBACKANDTHATBETTERBEACOSTUME!!!!!!" I totally lost it. The girl just stared at me. It couldn't be… Was this what I had read in fairytales?
