He needed something to sooth his confusion. Anything. He'd been out of the water for almost a month now, and he was damn near craving it. So, when he saw a pond, he didn't hesitate to strip his shoes off and ease into it, ignoring the looks he got for it.
Freya, who had been watching the ducks in the pond with the closest thing to a fond look she could muster, raised an eyebrow. Did that guy just-? Her first thought was junkie, but he was wearing a fucking suit. Pushing off the tree she had been leaning against, she approached the edge of the pond, hands still in her pockets. "Dude, what the hell."
He was treading water in the middle of the pond, looking over at the newcomer.
"Huh?" he asked, like she was the weird one.
"You just jumped straight into a public pond." Freya stated, pulling a pack of cigarettes from her pocket and lighting one of them with a lighter that seemed to appear from nowhere. Street magic, a sleight of hand.
Adis chuckled. "Yeah, my friend." They muttered, somehow having ealked up behind both of them. "Why are you in a public pond, son of- Ah, I forgot I wasnt supposed to say that."
Shay watched as a young man in a suit jumped into the pond and a crowd began to gather around him. She looked at her bird and gave it a nod. Hayabusa nodded his head back and flew down and landed on a tree right next to the pond, just watching.
He looked over at everyone watching him and shrugged, diving under the water so he couldn't be seen.
The fish are way more friendly, he thought, swimming with surprising grace from someone so awkward out of water.
Cœur slipped out from her bedroom window, avoiding another lesson from her older sister and mother. She knew everything and anything on how to be queen-like, she didn't need another reminder at how terrible she was at executing it. Grabbing her black backpack, she jumped down to the porch and down the railings of the porch staircase. She could here her older sister's already distant yells as she sprinted down the street
Sadie grinned myscheiviously as she kept decieving pedestrians as they attempted her game. She had set up a small table and started to play a shell game with others. She hides a marble under one of five cups and they have to guess where it is after she mixes them up. They bet ten dollars to begin, if they find it she gives them the ten and they get to keep theirs. If they loose, she takes their ten and keeps hers. From what others are seeing, it's a simple game and an innocent child is trying to make a bit of cash. But, Sadie chuckles and grins as people repeatedly attempt her illusion.
"Too bad, guess you lost," Sadie smiled widely at her last customer as he scratched his head over the game.
"How could I have lost?" He grumbled as he walked away.
Sadie tipped her small top hat at the passing pedestrians as they strolled by her stand.

Darcelle was mad– no, furious– no, livid. She was hardly this mad with her mother, but she'd just been too much to take recently. Her dagger was tight in her fist, and she longed to lodge it in the wall with all her might. The strong smell of cinnamon from her gum followed her from her room out the door and down to the sidewalk. Once she was far enough away from her apartment, she sheathed her dagger and focused on the sharp clicking of her high-heeled boots against the sidewalk. In fact, she was so focused on the sound that she nearly ran full on into a girl who was sprinting in the opposite direction. Since Darcelle had less momentum, she was thrown back against the sidewalk rather aggressively.
"oh my wonderland, I'm so sorry! You really should be paying attention to where you're angrily storming off to." Coeur picked up the dagger and flipped it expertly in her hand, catching by the blade and handing back to the girl. "I'm Coeur, and you are?" She asked with a small bow
Revan walked into the park and looked around hands now in his pocket. He was a bit bored and could do other things though walking randomly around a park seemed like a good idea. Maybe there was a nice bench where he could actually read his book. Though that would involve finding it first.
(I’m back and ready the role-play!)

Darcelle picked herself up and took her dagger back, eyeing the girl warily. "Darcelle. How'd you learn to handle a knife like that? Lost art is what it is…"
"a queen must always know how to protect herself. Can never felt on this lady knights to the job now can you?" She backed upnto let Darcelle up "if it is such a deal art, then how come you Know it?"
Darcelle pressed her lips together tightly, then answered after a moment. "My mother taught me. Never explained why."
She nodded in understanding "ah mother's. Always trying to do what's best. Now if it's for their children or other reasons, we'll never know until they call 'off with their heads'"
The "queen" talk had been noted before, but Darcelle had thought nothing of it. Now, as Coeur proclaimed "off with their heads", it clicked in her mind. "You're Coeur Crimson, daughter of the Queen of Hearts!"
She nodded "yes, t'is I." She smiled brightly "mom's famous here too, huh?" She dropped the queen act and smiled "seriously mom needs to cut it down on royal proclamations." She rolled her eyes and laughed
Darcelle snorted. "I guess you could say that. Maybe try keeping her head in a tense situation?" She winked and began to walk in the direction she'd been going.
(Hello? Anyone? Am I forever now removed from this chat?)
(I tried to get in. I think my boy is in the park.)
(So, what happened was we were supposedly planning to bring my character in later in the chat because I had to go somewhere for the weekend and couldn’t RP. Remember? I’m Scar’s child, Narsanae)
(Oh yeah I remember that. Maybe escape from zoo that is in the park.)
