“Um, excuse me? Yes, hello, bleeding person here. Am I the only one who’s noticed that I’ve been shot? Come on, guys. We’re supposed to be a team here. Leaving your teammate to bleed out alone isn’t very good teamwork.”
Adele knelt down. "Nate. What did you do?" she asked drily.
"If I knew, I wouldn't be yelling at you for help." He glared and slowly peeled his hand away from the hole in his arm.
Adele rolled her eyes. "It's deep." She pulled out her kit. In a few slightly rough movements she disinfected and cleaned up the wound. She covered it in ointment to lessen the swelling and dressed it tightly. "Just try not to move too much. It'll take a good while to heal."
