Elliot stumbled towards the shelter, holding a large cut on his arm that he had gotten from a shard of glass. Blood and rain drenched his shirt and his hair stuck to his neck. He reached the shelter, along with a few others.

(I'll be one of the 'few others')
Soon enough, the storm died down. The sun came out and it was setting towards the western sky.
"Is everyone ok?" Daniel asked. He counted up the people who had survived the storm. Six survivors.
"I think I hurt my ankle," Andrea says.
Daniel looked around at his surroundings. He found a tree with thick leaves and he tore one up into thick straps. He walked back over to the girl, "Which one?"
"I'm as good as you can be after being in a shipwreck," Elliot replied. "I cut my arm on some glass, I'm traumatized and stuck on an island with a bunch of strangers. Life's going just great."
"The best thing to do is to wrap your arm in some cloth, but that depends on how big your cut is," Daniel said to the boy with messy black hair.
"Left, I think," Andrea replies.

Daniel bent down and wrapped her foot in the leaf. Then he tied it together with a vine.
"Is everyone else ok?"
"All good!" Ben called, walking out of the water and laying down on the sand.
"What should we do?" Daniel asked, "I mean we need to protect ourselves and find a way off this island but any other ideas?"
Elliot ripped off a bit of his shirt and tried to tie it around his arm, but it was a little difficult. "Sorry, man, but I've got nothing except swimming into the ocean and holding our breaths as we paddle away,"
"That's stupid," Daniel said, "I'm thinking that when the cruise ship doesn't arrive at it's destination, someone will come looking for us."
"It's called sarcasm," Elliot said. He finally got the bandage around his arm correctly and moved it around.
Daniel frowned, "I don't like sarcasm."
