Brayden smiled a small smile at Aito. "Hi, Aito," he greeted. He fell in line next to Aito. It seemed like there was pretty much a large grey cloud hanging over AIto.
"Hey, is something wrong?" He leaned in Aito's face so that he could look him in the eyes. Brayden's face showed a slightly concerned look.
Miao giggled. "That sounds fun. What'd you go to see?" Her curly twin tails bounced up and down as she walked.
Darce and Jayven walked alongside each other, heading into the school while quietly talking amongst themselves, “Ugh I hope we don’t get any homework in math today…” Darce muttered to Jayven, tossing his math book in the air.
“Oh but we might, you know how our teacher is,” replied Jayven, who caught Darce’s math book, “Stop throwing this around, you’re going to ruin it.”
“Well you caught it, so it’s fine for the time being.”
Aito flinched a bit. “No, not really. Anything with you?”
Tonya smiled. “We saw John Wick 3! It was soooo good! Aito got scared so much hehe!”
Brayden took note of Aito's flinch, but said nothing of it. He leaned back away from the older boy's face and crossed his arms behind his back. "I'm fine.~" He was slightly worried. Aito never usually was this quiet when talking to Brayden, he almost felt like a stranger.
Brayden side-eyed Aito as they walked into the building. "So, whatcha been up to lately?"
Miao giggled once again. "Well, I'm glad that you had a good time." She took of her bookbag with a smirk and looked at both girls. "I made usssss. . . Matching friendship bracelets!" She pulled out three jade bracelets and handed one to each girl.
“Nothing much, got some paintings done, watched movies with Tonya. I got some studying in for the test on Friday.” Aito said calmly.
Tonya smiled and held her hands together giggling. “Aw! They’re soooo cute!~”
“What class do you have first again?” Darce asked, leaning on his locker which was conveniently next to his brother’s.
“Darce you’ve memorized my schedule and I’ve done the same with yours, I don’t see why you still ask me every single day.” Jayven replied, opening his locker and glancing at his brother, “But, it’s Mrs. Wersch. My History teacher.”
“Oh, right.” Darce grinned at Jayven, who only replied by smiling back and shaking his head.
(Omg I'm so behind sorry)
Everly skipped along beside her friends happily, listening to music and half-dancing. Her brother had already gotten to school; she was always behind him, but it didn't bother her. He was early, anyway.
Brayden's eyebrows raised. "There's a test on Friday?" Brayden could tell that there was still something on Aito's mind, so he continued to pry at it.
"So, everything went smoothly? You know, the movies and stuff like that?"
Miao smiled at Everly and Tonya. "I'm glad you like the bracelets," she chirped. She slowly stopped. Her lips pulled down from her usual smile and she called out to her friends.
"Hey, guys?" she opened, "Do you ever just feel. . . strange? Like something is different about you and it's not normal? Like I get it, a lot of people have magic, but what if we're. . . you know. . . better or. . . stronger?" Her cheeks flushed at the question. "Umm, you know what? Forget I asked anything."
Everly nodded thoughtfully. "You're probably better, anyway," she teased brightly.
Aito sighed. “Let me guess, you haven’t studied yet?”
Aito messed with his hair some more, smoothing it slightly. “You must have not been paying attention. Don’t worry though. All of our classes are the same, we both have the same schedule except for like one class. All of our classes are the same.”
Tonya held her chin. “To be honest, I do feel like I’m different magically, but not around you all and Aito. My parents don’t feel like my parents…”
Tonya swished her fingers around, her backpack floated around. “I mean, we’re said we’re gifted so I wouldn’t be surprised if there was something special about us.”
Tonya looked over at Miao. “I’ve seen kids challenge people like my brother, and two other kids similar to him in power. My brother always wins unless they are a type advantage, like water, and even then he still wins most of the time.”
“Sometimes I have strange dreams… and they usually have me, you two, Aito, your brothers, and two others who seem to be in this school all in a bright, heaven like world. Sometimes we are all together fixing earth, other times we split up with more powerful beings. It really is strange.”
Henry slung his bag over one shoulder, ruffling his sister's hair as she spotted her friends - somehow - in the crowded hallway. She scowled and swatted his hand away, smoothing her hair. "Jerk," she muttered.
"Brat," he responded, grinning. She rolled her eyes at him and darted off.
He rubbed his eyes, stifling a yawn. He hadn't had a good night of sleep last night, because of the same weird dream he had been having, about him and some… others that he'd seen around the school, including some of his friends and his sister.
Araine slid into her usual spot among her friends, her typical smirk already plastered on her face. She listened to their usual banter while her mind wandered to other things… like the weird dreams she'd been having.
Miao cocked her head slightly. "You've had those dreams too? Man, I thought I was the only one. . ." They soon arrive at Miao's homeroom class. She smiled at them and waved as she walked into the classroom. "Well, this is my stop, you two. Talk to you later!" With this she walked into the classroom and took her seat.
Brayden chuckled slightly. It was kind of embarrassing to admit that he hadn't studied, but it was the truth. He grabbed Aito's hand and pulled it down from his head. "You're hair looks fine, Aito."
He swayed his head side to side as he walke, his hair swished slightly. "Either way, you're right I wasn't paying attention." He shrugged lightly. He poked Aito on the side of the head and smiled.
"But~ it isn't Friday yet, so could ya help me study? Please~?"
Aito blushed a bit and looked away slightly. “F-Fine… I will… u-uh… just make sure you bring coffee…”
Aito thought to himself a bit then came up with something. “Oh! Maybe you can stay over this weekend and I can help. My mom loves when you’re over.”
Tonya waved to Miao, heading towards her class. “Ugh… I hate English… it’s so tough…”
She walked inside, and sat down at her desk. She was a bit early after all.
(Sorry I didn’t respond, and I guess Bump?)
(Oh yikes idk what to do)
(If we need to we can time skip)
(Idk if this is dead or not, but imma reply anyway bc I really liked this one.)
Brayden smiled. "Your mom likes my company?" He adjusted his coat and raised his eyebrows, "Well, I guess I see why. I'm a real lady charmer." His own joke pained him, but he tried not to let it show. He thought about his plans for the weekend and shrugged.
"I guess I can come over. And I promise I'll have coffee." He was so busy talking with Aito that he did not notice a large flower pot right in front of him. He kicked it over, the pot shattering. In surprise, Brayden fell backwards onto his butt.
Aito laughed a bit as he fell. "You alright Brayden?"
Aito reaches out his hand. "Here let me help.
(Sorry about my absence. I was struggling through alot.)
(It's alright I'm here if you need me, okay?)
(It's so obvious I'm not isn't it.)
