(hey look it's a wild cha-say)
“‘Blonde-Crazy-Lady.” Ruby mumbled, “Hmmp.”
"We have names."
“Exactly.” Ruby huffed, crossing her arms.
"That's Ruby and I'm Jessica."
"Ash." She waved towards Sam. "This is Sam. He's my brother."
“Hello Ash, hello Sam.”
Sam frowned. "You girls saw a hell hound?"
"A what now?" Ash asked.
"A hell hound. Big, scary thing. Black. Dog."
"Oh, you mean the goth Clifford! Yeah, we saw that."
"Nobody else even flinched!"
“What about the goth Clifford?” Ruby asked suspiciously, she put her arm defensely in front Jessica as if she was 'protecting' her.
(Hey what happened to @Book_Lord24?)
(… is anyone alive?)
(ya sorry I was dealing with a complex prank from my friends)
(Oh lol, have fun. I have to go anyways. Night night night.)
(yeah book lord died sorry lmao
just kidding she just procrastinates a lot)
"That's a hell hound," Sam said.
Ruby, Jessica, and Ash looked at him with blank looks. "A what now?"
He sighed. "A hell hound. H-E-L-L H-O-U-N-D. Big thing. Scary. What did you do?"
"Jessica ran around, Ruby acted confused, and I was pretty chill."
"You were freaking out just as much as the rest of us!" Jessica and Ruby accused.
Meanwhile, a small girl sat nearby, reading a book unnoticed. Her name was Samiel.
Sami felt bad for eavesdropping. Ah, well.
“You were just freaking out as much as the rest of us!”
Sami debated in her mind weather or not she should join the conversation. She knew exactly what they all were talking about, and had seen the hellhound herself. But, with a crippled foot, intervening wasn't exactly an option at the time.
As she listened to their conversation continue, the darker part of her mind started debating if any of them were a potential threat. She recognized Ash, having spoke to her a few times in the past, but she wasn't sure about the others. Absentmindedly, her left hand drifted towards her waist, where a long dagger was sheathed unseen. She hoped that the action went unnoticed by them, Sami was not in the mood to get attacked today.
"You were freaking out just as much as the rest of us!" Sami heard one girl say to Ash. Ash looked dramatically affronted. Sami laughed silently to herself at the look on Ash's face.
Her crutches, previously leaning against the bench she was sitting on, clattered to the floor with a loud crash.
Sami didn't think they knew that there was anyone within hearing range to them, and she could almost hear what they were thinking. "oh crap, please tell me that she didn't hear any of that."
Sami looked up at them after she picked back up her crutches. Ash looked as if she was trying to remember where she'd seen her before.
"Hi guys." Sami said, she shoved her book into her bag and stood up, leaning on her crutches, hearing the approaching train. "You should really try to keep your voices down when talking about that sort of stuff. Anybody could have heard you, especially in a public place like this." She gestured to the subway. The train arrived and she stepped through the doors, not checking to see if they were following her or not.
“Were you eavesdropping?”
Sami replied right as the train car doors closed. "You should consider yourselves lucky it was just me. See you around." The train took off and Sami took a seat. "Hopefully not anytime soon." She muttered to herself. She had a history of being mixed up with the whole 'gods and monsters' thing before, and was not keen on getting mixed up in it again.
(but hey if your characters drag her back into it im cool with that lol ;) )
(Lol. >u<)
“Tsk.”
"She didn't seem worried or like we need to be in a asylum."
“So what are you saying?”
