Everyone dies, that is a fact, but what happens when death disappears?
The world used to be fine, people would get their eternal rest, and people knew that their life would end someday. But one day, people stopped dying. It started with a suicidal teen, he jumped off the tallest building in the world, and hit the ground with a thump, but he stood back up, he couldn't walk, as his legs were broken, but he was not dead, he should have been, but he wasn't. People all around the world who were supposed to die were not, they walked among us, not as people who rose from the dead, but as if they had never died at all. After years of this happening, a program started called, "Death Hunters." The Death Hunters are people that go looking for the embodiment of Death himself, The Grim Reaper. None of the Death Hunters that have gone to find him have ever returned, whether they are living with him, or having their eternal rest, no one knows. You have gained a robotic attachment, it will help you on your quest.

(Well, it could get heavily confusing when someone doesn't know what pronouns to use for another character. Especially if said character has a unisex name like Ainsley, Tyler, Taylor, or Alex. That aside, I'll fill out a template as soon as I find the time.)

Robotic Upgrades: Can pickpocket anyone, can unlock any door, and has a gun built into it.
Robotic Downsides: There is a chip in his brain that connects it to the arm, if the arm gets wet, both the arm and the chip will short circuit, which will cause him extreme pain.
Why they joined the Death Hunters/Backstory: He a whole suicidal boy.

Appearance: choppy cotton candy (pink & blue) chin-length hair, sharp brown eyes.
Personality: brash but pretty laid back.
Robotic Attachment: Robotic hand (goes halfway up her elbow)
Robotic Upgrades: sends a energy wave out, just strong enough to knock someone down - the attachment uses her own energy to send it out, and if she does to many she will pass out.
Why they joined the Death Hunters/Backstory: she just got bored of lying around, doing nothing. She saw joining the death hunters as just something to dedicate herself to.

Appearance: Hair: Long, straight black hair, usually tied back into a low bun
Face: Thin and angular face shape, well-defined jaw, narrow upturned dark brown eyes, well-groomed eyebrows, very clean-shaven and clearly taken care of
Body: 5'10, light tan complexion with cooler undertones, lean lithe and fit
Personality: A little cold and gruff at first, can come off as sarcastic and rude, but he's really just a bit anxious when meeting new people. Once shown kindness, he is quick to warm up. He is a very practical person and likes to think through options before making decisions, but he is not overly analytical and believes gut instincts have a lot of value. He is an introvert and has a good amount of creativity and strategy bouncing around in his head. That said, he occasionally has his head in the clouds and misses things. He prefers to make plans before taking action, but is capable of making on-the-fly decisions if absolutely necessary.
Robotic Attachment: Legs
Robotic Upgrades: Increases speed and endurance while running, also enhances physical attacks done with his legs, can greatly increase jump height and allows him to stick landings more reliably.
Robotic Downsides: The joints lock up sometimes and he won't be able to move one or both of his legs. Usually occurs after overuse. This can be very painful at times.
Why they joined the Death Hunters/Backstory: Tohru was in some freak accident. He was shot through the lung by a stray bullet and didn't die. Now he's here. (will develop a little more)
