If someone from this rp have Tourettes i can change
Huh, oh, no, Mendax has a glitchy thing that comes from their power and everyone calls it Tourettes
ohh
Yeah, it's not really… But I do like to call it that instead of going into an explanation
Wow, guys. Should we start now, even though we don't have many people on this, and just let them join on the way?
Sounds good!
Im ready when you are
Shall we?
Okay! Who wants to start?
Hm, I think since it's your rp… You start.
Okay.
Yup!
Terra woke up confused. She was sure that she had gone to sleep on her bed, but here she was, her nose inches from the ceiling. She heard the crack of wood and tried to look to see where she was, and found herself falling. She hit the ground hard, and looked up to see splintered pieces of the ceiling fan. She glared at it. "Stupid powers," she muttered.
Mendax woke up, drenched in a cold sweat and half their body glitched into the bed. "D-D-Damn it." They muttered, glitching out of the bed and into a standing position. In the other rooms, both Declan and Jasper were having problems of their own. Jasper had made his blankets fly up to the ceiling and Declan was still asleep, asleep midair that is.
Thundering noises from outside stirred Cosmo from his sleep. Huh, what wa-. Cosmo started thinking before another one came with a much larger force. He hopped up from his bed and looked down to the floor to see cracks forming. He pushed his window curtains open to see bombs falling from the sky leaking a reddish gas that almost covered his windows. "Not this again." He mumbled as if it were a daily occurrence. For the past few years every so often, these WMD's would fall from nowhere and make their way near him. Luckily he was miles away from the destruction but he still felt the aftershocks. As he headed to his siblings room, his tics came back again and he was hitting himself and swearing loudly and uncontrollably for a few seconds on the way there.
He saw them scattered on the couch sleeping with blankets loosely falling around them. They had to take turns on who would use the bed since it was a twin and they all couldn't fit on it. They all had to take care of themselves without a parental figure and they were use to the hardships so they didn't complain much but that doesn't mean that it wasn't hard. Some nights they would go to bed without a hearty meal or freezing cold since there was any form of air conditioning or heaters. He gently shook them awake to let them know to get ready for work. They all had to make some form of money so they could live so they decided not to go to school. As Cosmo shook his sister he got a migraine and was making her wake up and walk in circles. "Agh." He said clenching his head and stopping the action before apologizing. When they all finally woke up he took his bag and went out of their makeshift home to find some way to make money.
Terra was very annoyed. The bombs had started falling-yet again. Her house was very near the sight, and it was driving her nuts. She ran out the door to go see if anyone needed help. Or, at least, she tried to. She teleported a few feet away and groaned. "I'm never going to get anywhere when I want to, am I?" She said to no one in particular.
Mendax got ready, walking outside to wait for the brothers. When they finally arrived Mendax gave them a smile, glitch particles making the smile look strange. "Y-You guys t-t-take to- to long." They said, crossing their arms as their glitch made the sentence sound garbled.
Finally, Terra was tired of randomly teleporting places. After teleporting all over the house trying to get to her room, she found some high-tech bracelets that would tone down the amount of teleporting she did. They hurt her, though, but if she actually wanted to do anything with her life besides try not to fall asleep on the ceiling fan, she would have to endure it.
Cosmo kicked his stand up from his bike before riding the high vehicle. He had to pedal and steer carefully as the aftershocks were not yet over. He looked into some abandoned home windows to see if anything were worth the use. The homes weren't spooky of any sort, it's just that the people that lived there left so that they could avoid the destruction. He parked the bike near the porch and pushed hard on the door so he could enter. He explored the house but only found some jewelry for his sisters and some clothes for all of them. The food were all expired save for some canned beans and cereal and there were some large pots. He took all that he could fit in the duffel bag before heading home and dropping the items off. His siblings had left a while ago to go run some errands so he decided his "shift" was over. He went back to head to the least destroyed park in the area.
"No, we don't, you're just an early riser." Declan grouched, as always, being the moodier of the two brothers. "Su-s-sure." Mendax said, sticking out their tongue and accidentally glitching a few feet to the side. "Let's just go and see if we can find some coffee, yeah?" Jasper interjected, holding his bag in his hands.
Terra pulled her bracelets off. They hurt her a lot, so much that she couldn't see much in front of her. She breathed out a sigh of relief as the pain went away and promptly teleported a few feet away. "I should really control my emotions better," she grumbled to herself.
//Hey, can I still join?
(I think you can)
Cosmo kicked the bike up again before dodging the potholes in the ground. It was a good 4 minutes to get to the town square, or what was left of it and Cosmo made it there in a record two minutes. He was pretty hungry, not having ate anything for a whole day and morning and was ready to see what they had on sale.
//Hey, can I still join?
(sure.)
Terra hurried off to her secret spot, a place where no one went, ever, where she usually practiced her powers. Not that it helped, though she still tried. She assumed the secret was to control her emotions, but her emotions ran too powerful for her to ever manage that.
