Prompt: Your character is in hell, and they've sold their soul to the Devil. Usually, people who have sold their souls work like slaves, torturing people in hell. But your character died while making their deal. Now, things are starting to go wrong. Lucifer doesn't have full control over your character, like he should, leaving them with the opportunity to claw their way out of hell.
The devil sees a lot of value in their soul, however, and will do anything to get them to stay and give up their soul.
Note: This roleplay will most likely require a lot of planning before starting. I'm also hoping for a lot of detail in responses.

So this is probably going to need a lot of planning, because we need to figure out what hell is like, how deals are set up, what your character did, etc. so we're not just pulling everything out of our asses and confusing ourselves during the roleplay
Maybe a spunky 19 year old musician trades their soul for fame & fortune, but when making the deal with Lucifer they got hit by a car or something similar to that which caused them to die an early death. Upon waking up they find themself in hell stuck inside Lucifer's castle, hearing the screams of others that have made deals with him in the past. (I still haven't thought about what they want from Lucifer in trade for their soul, have any ideas?)
That sounds cool, but what would make them so desperate to be famous that they'd sell their soul? (Just trying to give it a bit of backstory, not saying it's a bad idea at all.) And I like to think of Hell being different for everyone, so what if they had a personalized Hell?
That works, and maybe their family forced them to make the deal…
Alright, what's their family like? (you don't have to tell me in full detail but I'd like to have these things worked out so we have the opportunity to take this RP wherever we want and so that we've got a lot to work with). How do they know that the Devil is real?
