(Yes you can join and you didn't miss much at all, just get your character over to the courtyard,)

(oki den)
Leon quietly went over to the courtyard, not wanting to talk to anyone. After he made it to the courtyard he just went over to a corner and leaned against the wall.

“Oh um.. that,” He rubbed the back of his neck with his hand, “I umm… can control darkness and umm… people’s fear.”

Astra nodded her head. "Now that is useful, compared to this." She held up her hand and it phased almost creating doubles as she slowly waved it in front of him, flickering in and out.

@Fantasy-Illy!

Everest had been watching the girl with the guards closely. She thought it was weird that she was the only one with guards. Honestly, Everest could put everyone here in an illusion, but doing that would hurt the other kids and they had done nothing wrong. Unless she could get close enough to some of the guards and put illusions in their head. Sure they might go a bit crazy, possibly hurt themselves or just die, but it would be one last guard to deal with and it would make it easier to escape. (Have any of you seen Naruto?)

Astra felt very uncomfortable at the stares and looks she was getting since she was the only one here with guards. She shivered and decided to stand over the arching roof of a building so it was harder for people to see.

@Fantasy-Illy!

(Ah, then it might be a bit hard to explain. Everest can basically trap people in their own minds, they either see something happy or their worst nightmares, they aren't able to escape unless Everest let's them. But if they get hurt in the illusion it happens in real life. So, her power is kinda like that. Just so people know it's just some silly illusion spell or something.)

( Ok, cool. Astra has very critical health issues and and basically her intangibility phasing is very dangerous along with her invisibility.)

@Fantasy-Illy!

(I think Everest and Astra balance each other out quite well. Because for Everest's illusions power to work, she has to touch the head or neck of someone, but that won't work on Astra. But Astra going invisible won't work on Everest because she doesn't see with her eyes but with the moment of everyone so even if Astra goes invisible she's still physically there so Everest will always be able to see her haha)

( Well that would be interesting…………except that Astra is dying so that would be cool.)

(Thank you and get your character to do something.)

@Fantasy-Illy!

(Okay!)
Everest walked around looking for her first victim. Going for one of the main guards would probably the best. She walked to one of the guards at the front of the gate. "Sir. I'm not feeling too good" Everest had always been pretty good at the whole acting thing. "Listen, kid, why don't you find a nurse or something?" Everest tears up "But, I'm blind I can't see anything." The guard shakes his head "Don't think I'm dumb I've heard about you." She walks closer tripping and her fingertips graze his neck as she falls to the ground. It took only a few seconds before he let out a high pitched shriek one you would expect a guy that big to make. He falls and rolls around on the ground. "Please stop!" He pleaded, reaching out to nothing. Everest walked away and she couldn't hide a sinister smile, it always made her feel good when she could use her gift. Not necessarily for good but just to do it. "What the hell is wrong with him!" Another guard shouts while Everest sat back and watched everyone scatter.

The two guards who had been carefully watching Astra and her friend heard all the commotion, they protectively stood in front of them, ready to fire at anyone who came close with a few more guards running to help them.

STOP! A booming voice roared over all the panic, demanding attention. Everyone froze in their places. A tall man stepped onto the stage, he had black hair that was greased back and wore a business suit. He tried again in a calmer voice and plastered a smile on his face. "I am Sviet Kilening, the director of the place. Please do not panic, the matter has been taken care of if everyone can settle down." He said in a reassuring voice as a few guards and scientists went over to handle Everest. "I understand you are a bit confused about where you are and how things work here after a few days. This is the S.L.P.C, Special, learning, power, center. You are all special here because of your powers, some more dangerous then others. But don't worry! Here we teach you how to use your powers for good and here you learn to control them along with your other special needs. Before I start talking about the schedule, let me go over a few rules for you.

  • Please do not go into any employee spaces or restricted sections, there will be serious consequences.
  • Always obey your instructor
  • Do not use your powers for any harm or bad reasons.
  • Don't talk back
  • Follow the rules

Simple rules are they not? If you have displayed good behavior and seen to control your powers, you will be allowed to see your parents again. Now We have been working on the consequences for awhile now, since the last person didn't make it. Now the staff shall hand your schedules to you over there." He pointed to a booth where some staff were waiting. "If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or the staff. Thank you for your time." He snickered at the last part. "Enjoy." He added before fixing his tie and walking off the stage.

Astra's phasing worsened a little at his words. She had no family and due to her magical capibilities, she would have to stay here. This was the only way of keeping herself alive and well, at least for the time being.

@Fantasy-Illy!

Two guards grabbed Everest's arms "Let go you, stupid guards." Everest was kicking and struggling to get loose. "This is what happens when they don't let me finish," The deep voice of Everest's doctor said. He sighed and handed a paper to Everest. She smiled up at him "I'm blind, I can't read this!" He bent down so his face was level with hers. She could feel his breath, she hated this man. "Don't worry I'll read it for you. Don't let her touch your neck or head. He snapped his fingers and a needle was pushed into her neck. She could feel the sleepiness takeover and she struggled to stay awake "She can't do anything if she is asleep. "The guard is dead thanks to you," Everest smiled before passing out.

Astra watched as the girl who caused the commotion was dragged away. Astra heard she was dangerous, but only if she touched your neck or head. Astra didn't think she was that dangerous since she couldn't touch Astra.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Everyone calm down. She can't hurt anyone anymore." A woman guard shouted loud enough for everyone to hear. "I can't believe she was stupid enough to kill a guard," Another man said as he pulled the dead body away. When Everest woke she had been strapped down again. "We have something special for you. The technicians and scientists have been working on this for a while for you, children." Everest heard a click "And lucky you, you will be the first to test it for us." She felt something cold around her neck. "What is this?" She asks trying to pull it off. "If a guard pushes a button on this remote it will send a shock wave through your body, only if you use your power. So be a good girl." The doctor passed the remote to a guard "She can't be in here long," He waves his hand "Take her back out. If she tries anything, use the remote." They go to pick her up, but she bites one of the guards. The guard pushes the button and Everest lets out a scream and her body falls to the ground. She pants catching her breath. "Take her back out." They reach down and she slaps their hands away "I can walk myself."

Astra saw the girl walk out again, looking very hostile. The guards still guarded Astra and her friend as they watched her.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aeron had watched the commotion from a distance, not wanting to get involved and face the consequences. The Blinding Light was enough, he couldn’t face anything else. He slunk into the shadows, listened to their murmurings about this place. Unlike some of the others, he had fairly good control over his powers.

"Well I guess we should get our schedules." Astra whispered to her new friend if she could call him that as she slowly made her way towards the line of people.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aeron followed Astra as they joined the back of the line, “Why would the other girl do that?” He asked, “Is she insane or something?”

Deleted user

"Well I've heard she was dangerous, I think she was trying to escape." Astra replied as it was her turn. The staff gave her a schedule, the only problem was that Astra's phasing decided not to coporate and made her hand go through the paper.
