“What do you want?” He asked. You, we wantssss you.
(This is an idea but maybe the shadows take over Aeron and then Astra and Everest have to get rid of them? Just a thought…)

Before Aeron could say anything in remark he felt something hit his chest. He coughed and fell to the ground. Notsss so strong now? He heard the voices louder in his ear. He felt another hit to his neck. He wanted to scream but something kept his mouth shut. Soon he was trapped in his own head, Let me out! He screamed started hitting and kicking against a wall of black. “Now we can’t do that Aeron, where’s all the fun?” He spoke but it wasn’t his voice. The shadows and taken over.
Everest, noticed Aeron's heartrate rise, rapidly. What's going on? Instead of chasing after Astra, she turned the other way and and heard for where Aeron was.
The shadow adjusted to his new form, Aeron all the while screaming in his mind to be let out. The shadow just laughed at him, “Now now Aeron, we have a job to do and needed you for it. Don’t worry you’ll be let out eventually, only when you die in your own head.” Aeron could see everything his body was seeing, and he saw it creep back towards the door.
We knnoooww yoouurrr seecrettsss. It whispered into her mind, plucking memories, reading her thoughts. Who are you? Astra thought to herself.
Everest reatches down to the place Aeron was hiding. "Hey, you okay?" She tapped his shoulder, very concerned for her new friend.
The shadow thought into Astra’s mind, “We are death, we are what comes on the journey to the afterlife, we have come to destroy everything in this facility, starting with someone you love.” NO! Aeron screamed throwing everything he could at the wall of shadow. He tunred to Everest, “Fine, where’s Astra?” The shadow said.
"Eh, I lost her in the crowd of people when I felt your heart rate rise," Something was wrong really wrong. "Mhm." She chilled trying to act like she normal not caring self. "I lost her who cares. Why don't you play with me?"
“That’s not how the game works, Everest,” The shadow said, smiling but it was more of a wicked grin then anything, “Come on.” He said, walking off. No, Everest run, please run…. His voice trailed off, with every with every minute he was becoming weaker.
"Where are we going? I told you I cant find her." She tried and tried to pull away from his grip, but she never has been very strong. "Seriously?" And she could use her powers to he if anything might be different, because of the ring around her neck.
“Come on, surely we can find her?” The shadow said, trying his best to sound like Aeron.
She jerk her hand back "What of I don't want to find her!" Everest looked at her feet "I wanted to hang out with you without Astra around for a bit, I mean I've never met someone as nice as you." She smiled and looked back up at him.
“Wha-bu- um. Maybe another time, we should go fine Astra.” The shadow would find Astra with or without Everest so he started to walk off.
"Damn, didnt work." Everest was running out of ideas. She still had Astra on her radar and was a fast runner. Everest took off leaving Aeron behind. "Astra!" She called "Come out, some things wrong with Aeron." She was a Sprite runner not long distance, so she would run out of energy soon. "I know you care about him, but if you don't come out I'll take him for myself!" Everest felt a little something for him, but she didnt want to get in the way.
The shadow watched as Everest ran away, he didn’t run after her, just put his hands in his pockets and walked.
No,no no leave! Astra pleaded to the unknown voice in her mind. But she could not control it as it slowly took over her. It was like watching a movie, she heard her friends cries, she couldn't help it as she attacked Everest.
The shadow smirked as he new what Astra was doing. It rounded the corner and saw Astra on top of Everest. After a while of fighting, it pulled out of her mind. We’ll be back Astra.

"Get off!" Everest pleaded clawing and kicking the girl on too her her, tears in her eyes. She felt hopeless, she wasn't strong and couldn't use her power. No air would enter her lungs and she felt her body lose feeling. This is the first time in a while she felt scared.

"I shouldn't have trusted you." The shadow hissed or Astra said in unnatural voice before slowly, it pulled and the invisibility weared off. "I'm so sorry." Astra apologized in a hoarse voice. She managed to successfully beat up a girl, and she didn't even mean too. Pain flooded her body as Astra back off before looking at her watch. 9 minutes, 23 seconds. It read. "No no no no." The fight must of drainned her energy. Astra stumbled, but kept walking as she tried to reach her room on vain, soon she collasped on the floor. I'm going to die. A tear ran down her heek as she was practically dragging herself to death's door.
Astra may have let go, but it felt as if her grip was still on Everest's throat. Tears ran down her face as she gasped for air. All she could do was lay on the floor helpless. No matter what she was going to get this thing off her neck if it was the last thing she would do.
To keep up the pretense that Aeron was actually Aeron, he put on his best worried look and knelt down next to Astra, "Where's your room?" It asked, trying to force concern into Aeron's voice.
Aeron watched everything, he himself was crying because he was so useless against this…thing. He couldn't help, well the shadow was for some known reason. That was good, he guessed, as long as she didn't die.
