"Oh okay." Cornelius nodded slowly. "Exploring is a bit overrated. Especially when you do it 24/7."
"Oh okay." Cornelius nodded slowly. "Exploring is a bit overrated. Especially when you do it 24/7."
"Oh. So is it just cold wind you follow? And what is snow?" Lixi asked.
"Yeah just the cold. And snow is frozen water that falls softly from the sky."
Lixi looked puzzled. "But isn't that ice? And doesn't it hurt?"
Cornelius rubbed his temples. "Okay. Lemme rephrase that. Snow is water that has been frozen into tiny thin crystals and it falls from the sky softly. They melt really easy and they're super soft. Ice is hard and sharp and cold and uninviting and-" He stopped himself. "Sorry."
Lixi nodded. "I'm sorry if you don't like to talk about it. I shouldn't of pushed you." Lixi apologized.
"No it's fine I just get carried away."
Lixi nodded. "So should I answer any questions about Wonderland or are you good?" Lixi asked.
"Tell me all about it!"
"Well basically its an alternate world from your world where most of the things are opposites from my mother's imagination. So basically, be prepared for unexplainable things and don't question it." Lixi explained.
Cornelius laughed. "I question everything."
"Well luckily for you I do too, but by this point, my brain is so fried from the lines between reality and fiction I don't know which is which anymore which is why we're all mad and and probably don't question why cupcakes are falling out of the sky or why there is a turtle with wings."
"Wait there is?"
"Yep." Lixi answered his question.
"Wow…I gotta see that…"
Lixi chuckled. "You'd be shocked by how much we have in store."

Oliver kneeled down next to Quinn, trying to have a small conversation to keep her conscious as he helped the twins with cleaning the wound. It was something about the different types of tea and desserts at the party. He tried to cover up his worried expression with a calmer look as he glanced up at Madelyn, though everything that was happening was stressing him out.
Madelyn slammed a fist into the ground as as the shares for porcelain were pulled from her feet. This hurts and I still have to take a bullet out of my shoulder. This wasn't the worst pain she had experience during her life, but it was defiantly in her top ten. "Hey, Reyna, how proud do you think your mother will be when she finds out you shot one of the Hatters?" She said trying to make a joke to lighten the mood.

"Maddie, let me help you. The Twins are taking care of Quinn anyways," Oliver offered, barely waiting for an answer as he moved towards her and began to look at her wound. "The bullet is still in there, right?" He asked, looking up to meet her gaze for a few moments.
"Yeah, there is no exit wound," she pushed hand against the bandages to keep pressure on it, "Once it's out, I'm going to have to stitch it up and my leg as well." Madelyn started to look around. "But all that can wait until we get to a safer location."
"We'll move once Quinn's shoulder is wrapped," Oliver nodded, moving Madelyn's hand so he could hold the bandage against her shoulder instead. He decided that she must be tired from her encounter with the beast, so he wanted to limit her movements. "Thank you for going back for her. She's like my sister, and if I lost her…" He trailed off, instead glancing down from Madelyn's gaze to the bandages.
Madelyn winced as the pressure changed, “ did you think I would leave her there?”
( Sighs because most non-wonderlandians are not involved.)
