“I heard that,” Reyna said offhandedly. “If you’re calling me an idiot, I need to remind you that you once dated this idiot.” Before said idiot realized she was an idiot.
Jaxon laughed lightly at the conversation, grip loosening slightly.
Madelyn was to focused on the scratches on the stone floor to hear the others teasing Oliver. Her mind is working over time trying to make all of this fit together even knowing she does have all the pieces.
"Yeah, Cade. You dated that idiot," Oliver teased, motioning towards Reyna as the corners of his lips quirked up into a crooked grin. Quinn laughed softly and pushed herself up onto a table, grabbing a few more cookies and a teacup.

“Which means you’re just as much an idiot,” she concluded proudly. “Now, introduce me.”

Thanatos walked towards Maddie, kneeling down and inspecting the claw marks attempting hide hide his annoyance at the others banter, A person had just died for hell's sake! He felt his anger begin to rise and a flicker of flame appeared within his raven hair. "Is their anything in wonderland that could have caused this?" He questioned Maddie curtly.
Madelyn, was starting at the marks and clicking her tongue mimicking the sound it was making. "The claws could be from many of the beasts of Wonderland, I would say a Jubjub bird based on the number of marks, but that sound, Click click click," She imitated, " I don't think it can see, I'm scared to say it might be an Jabbewocky or something related, wonderland is relatively unexplored and a lot of things strange things live outside the borders." She took the shears from her side and opened and closed them a few times Snicker-snack snicker-snack snicker-snack "If it's any kind of Wonderland beast you'll want vorpal blades. Those are hard to find," She looked but from the blades and over to him," So do you have a theory that's a bit more hopeful?"
Alex walked over to where 2 people were trying to figure out what did this. "Have you figured out what it was, how it got here? I mean is this thing even from Wonderland because I can reassure you it's not on Neverland." Alex asked as she observed the marks it made.
Oliver wandered over to the two, listening to their conversation as he listened to Madelyn's theories about the possible beasts who had come to the party. He had seen a Jubjub bird once, though it hadn't been a very fun experience. "There are thousands of different beasts that could be the culprit, even more than one. Do you think one of the courts sent them, Maddie?" Oliver asked, speaking up as he studied the claw marks, tilting his head to the side as Quinn followed behind him.
She closed her eyes, The answers, the answers, the answers, Why does everyone think I have the answers?! It was pitch black, I couldn't see any better than anyone else. Madelyn dropped to the ground and laid on her back. everyone is looking at me and expecting me answers.
"Um ok are you? Are you sick?" Alex asked in concern as she bent down next to her, unsure of what to do. "Is it stress?"
"Maddie?" Oliver spoke up, concerned as he kneeled down next to Madelyn once he noticed her drop down to the ground. They didn't seem to be answering, so he sat down cross-legged next to her, nudging their shoulder softly.
"I'm debating what I should do?" Sacrifice my mental health in an attempt to see the creature or just keep speculating She tapped her fingers on the floor, I don't even think I could get away with inducing enough shock to distort time with my friends around.
"Wh-what if we can look back into time somehow? My watch is broken, but I could get enough of energy to alter time for a few moments, just enough to spot the beast?" Quinn proposed, her voice a bit shakier as she glanced down at the claw marks warily, debating whether or not she would pass out from the effort. Oliver gave Quinn a concerned look, seemingly debating the thought as well.
Thanatos ignored the others, tracing the claw marks in the stone and coming up with a black slimy residue. Bringing it up to his nose he took a sniff and gagged. The smell was awful like a rotting corpse but much worse.
Madelyn sighed and sat up, "I can look back," she looked around the group "I could essentially step back to that moment. But I'll need help," she looked at Quinn "Do you know the time it happened and Reyna I trust you the most with this," She held up the blade with the gun build in, "I trust you'll be able to fallow though with what I about to ask."
