Bens head snapped up "Nothing. I'm ben. And you?"
“I’m River! I love the book your reading! I’ve read it about a hundred times!” She said brightly
"really?" Ben said, holding it out. "I'm trying to figure out why stuff like this happens'
Gwen browsed through the paranormal section of the library. She was bored and wanted to correct all the mistakes in the books.
"really?" Ben said, holding it out. "I'm trying to figure out why stuff like this happens'
“I have -I mean read on a blog that stuff like this is just aliens trying to make contact but in a slow and steady pace” River blurted out. “So why the interest?” She asked, curious
Maria sat in the back of her first period class room, looking up some lore
"It's jjust an interesting topic." Ben said, smiling. "Can i say your'e blog?"
(Im sorry lol, i was half asleep when i wrote that i meant, "Can i see you're blog)
Alex continued to write, smiling a bit when he saw that a blog he read had been updated. He went to the blog and read the new post, scribbling away in his notebook.

“Well I mean do t tell anyone but I am the owner of the blog We Come In Peace. I write under the pseudonym Brooke Night.” She blushed.
"Why are you embarrassed about it, it sounds amazing!" Ben said. He had a passionate look in his eyes. "It seems like a great idea."
“Yeah but most of the people at my old school follow it and they never liked me always finding me weird so this is something that is a little different.” She replied “Besides I post that stuff for serious hunters like me!” River said excitedly. She opens the blog on her laptop and showed it to him.
He scrolled through the page. "Wow. How did you find all of this out?" he asked
(Is she new to the town?)
(Is she new to the town?)
(Been there since the school year started, and I’m guessing it’s spring there)
River blushes “I researched all of it and also did a few experiments! I also studied crop circles and I think I’m close to creating a language. But most of this is just me being me and really interested in these things. It if you need help looking for something in the book your reading, then I can tell you where it is even the exact page!” She said to him
"Thats amazing." Ben sat, pensive. "I've lived here my whole life and I have found millions of things, that are unexplainable. Some that haven't even been documented. I have to show you." The bell rang just then. "Meet me after school here." Ben said, shouldering his backpack. "See you soon, River"
“Bye Ben!” She smiled waving at him. She continued to work on reading the journal and writing whatever she found in her blog.
Ben walked through the halls to his History class. He was immersed in his folders, and wasn't looking where he was going.

Alex sort of wandered the halls, knowing where he was going and not really paying attention when he bumped into someone, "whoops, I'm sorry." He mumbled before going to the floor and picking up Ben's papers, his notebook having flown across the hallway.
"Its ok. Don't worry about it." Ben looked Alex up and down. "Are you new here? I haven't seen you before."
Alex nods, handing Ben his folders which were now neatly arranged before going to grab his notebook, "I started last week. I'm kind of a… lone wolf type… if you catch my drift." He hated calling himself a 'lone wolf,' but that certainly sounded cooler than, 'I study aliens all the time instead of interacting with other people and spend all my free time in some obscure corner so you've probably never seen me before.'
"Oh, thats cool man. Well, I'll be in the library during lunch if you want to hang out. I need to study my cryptids book." Ben held the book up. Alex seemed relaxed and unjudgmental.
