Jezebel slid in to the van happily. "Heyo."

Marlowe slid into the back of the van and waved. "Hey!"

“Hey! Elijah, did Cecil say, make sure there are no flammable substances?” He gave a confused smile.

Elijah shrugged and shifted closer to Aeron to make room for someone else to sit next to him. "You guys have nothing that can easily burn, right?"

“Nope.” Aeron tried not to blush as Elijah moved closer, his stomach doing flips but he kept his cool.

"Shirts easily burn. Wires easily burn. So yes, I did bring flammable items." Marli leaned back in her seat.

Elijah sighed. "Alright, just don't go near whatever part of my uncle is on fire, I guess. Do we have everyone?"

“Dunno,” Aeron shrugged, how many people are missing?”

Xiv made sure that she got a window seat next to Marli. Even though she was a pretty big talker, she was always silent in cars, staring out the window, daydreaming.

(Okay, I have to leave again after this, but I'm pretty sure this is the seating arrangement for right now:

Driver's seat - Cecil
Passenger's seat - Cecil's stuff
First row of seats (Going from passenger's side to driver's side) - Aeron, Elijah, Jezebel
Second row of seats - Xiv and Marlowe
Third row of seats - Ivory, Kalei and stuff that didn't fit in the trunk

"I think everyone's here," Elijah said, taking a head count. "Now we just wait for Cecil, I guess."

“How long do you think he-“ Aeron was cut off as he heard someone making quite a lot of noise, “Never mind, I think he’s here.”

"What-" Elijah jumped back at his uncle's entrance. He had thrown his bag onto the passenger's seat without so much as a look before jumping into his seat and slamming the car door.

"Everyone here? Good. We should start driving before the mall notices I escaped." He said, out of breath.

“What mall?” Aeron asked, looking at Elijah confused.

Elijah looked just as confused. "And why would you need to escape it?" He asked.

His uncle only started the car. "You'll hear about it on the news, or you won't. Everyone's here, right?" He said quickly, an excited look on his face. "Like I said, it'd be great if we could start on the road, we'll get to the first motel faster."

Jezebel looked out the window

“Yeah, let’s get going.” Aeron said.

"Buckle up, kiddos, this is gonna be a wild ride!"Cecil hollered shamelessly, starting to pull out of the space and onto the road.

"We're going to die, aren't we?" Elijah muttered, more to himself than anyone else.

Aeron laughed at Elijahs comment, “Probably, but dying with you is a plus.” He smiled at him.

Xiv just looked out the window

Elijah blushed. "Yeah, because death by crusty van is great way to go if with your friends."
