Vex cocked his head. "Who are you? and why do you keep calling me asssshhhhhhhhhhhtoooooooooonnnnnnnnnnn?"

As soon as he took the chip off, an loud siren filled the room. Crap… Micah leaned against the wall again, pretending to be knocked out. He heard the heavy footsteps marching down the hall again. He bit his lip, trying to stay silent. His palm stung, which didn't help with the quiet thing. The footsteps stopped in front of his cell again. There was a small shuffling noise and he heard the clunk of something against the cell floor. There were a few seconds of silence before a loud BANG filled the room. Micah flinched at the noise. "I see…" The voice boomed. Uh oh… Before he knew it, a large fist was wrapped around his neck. "HOW DID YOU ESCAPE?!" Asked the burly man who was now holding up Micah by the neck. He had a dark mask on so his face wasn't visible. Micah stayed silent, his hands pulling on the guy's arms as he tried to escape. "HOW?!" The man's grip tightened on his neck. He shook his head. "…I…don't know..what…you're talking about…." He lied. The guard dropped Micah onto the ground and kicked his stomach, causing Micah to double over and release a tiny squeak. The guard laughed and pushed a button on the side of his wrist. The cell bars widened to he could slip through and they closed as he walked away, leaving Micah lying on the floor in pain.

"Name? What's that?"

Phoebe swore. “You know— what people call you.” A sudden thought struck her. “Do you remember Ayu?”

"Ayu? I've never heard of anybody called that."

Crapcrapcrap. “He needs serious medical assistance— but we can’t take him to a hospital.” Phoebe said frantically, checking Ashton’s pulse.

Ayu woke up, unaware that she was ever asleep. What? And she saw Vex standing right in front of her. VEX! she yelled in her mind, running to the figure, but instead ran into the wall.
"HE DOESN'T REMEMBER YOU." A loud, deep voice says. What? NO! she mindscreamed, and held out her hands. There was blood all over them, and when she looked back up at Vex, there was blood all over him, especially around his head. He looked so close to death.
"FINISH THE JOB." The voice said. "NOW." No! NEVER! Ayu mindscreamed, feeling the pain in her throat. Her eyes were soaked, and she ran towards Vex again. She looked at her hand and it had… a knife in it? Oh my god NONONONONO- But before she could come to a halt, the knife struck the Vex illusion right in the stomach.

Vex felt a stabbing pain in his stomach. "What- The- Hell?" He said, spitting each word out as he collapsed again.

Phoebe jumped backwards, kneeling down quickly again. “I need you to tell me what just happened.”

Vex panted. "I don't know…."

Micah grabbed his chest with his injured hand. Ugh…I think I bruised a rib… He heard the guard yelling down the hall. Carefully, he inched his way to the edge of the cell closest to the hall. A few cells down, he saw the man walk away from a hunched figure in another cell. The figure's hands were clasped over their head and they were rocking back and forth like Micah had been earlier. He waited for the guard to disappear down the hall before he called out softly. "Hey!"
