So then whay’s Marco’s decision? Cuz he already told Phoebe he loved her.

Marco stepped closer to Phoebe. His eyes softened. "I didn't mean it… When I said that I was using you… I do and say certain things to get people to trust me." Marco shifted and squatted down next to her. "I love you." he repeated.

Vex was still blackened out, lying in a dark alley.

So then whay’s Marco’s decision? Cuz he already told Phoebe he loved her.

Phoebe looked up at him with wide eyes. “I—“, she swallowed. “I love you too., she whispered, mouth dry, as ten tons of undiluted love and energy was pumped through her veins.

Marco smirked and leaned closer. He placed his lips on hers and put one hand in her hair.

Vex felt numb all over.

Phoebe’s eyes closed as she leaned into the kiss, heart thumping loudly on her chest. The kiss was soft, sweet, gentle, as if Marco knew that the kiss she’d given him on the street had been her first, that he was her first boy love. It was bliss.
