Wait, they needed new names too? "Well, can I just use my real name?" Micah asked, not even waiting for Mariko's grandfather to answer he previous answer.

"Nothing, do not talk to me." Jiji smiled and turned towards Mariko, "彼のこと、好き?" Mariko blushed, "Jiji! ほんの少し." Jiji nodded, but looked pained, "どうして？彼はあなたのために十分ではありません." Mariko touched Jiji's arm, "とにかくそれは問題ではない、私は彼と一緒に未来を計画していない." Jiji grunted and turned back.

“Hey guys, Zeke.”, Phoebe said as she slipped in between Marco and Micah. “Which sounds better to you, Corinne or Lila? Eva, maybe?”, she asked.

"Corinne, I think." Mariko was still blushing from her previous conversation.

Marco thinks, do I want my girlfriend's name to be Lila or Eva? Yeah, I pick Eva. "I vote for Eva."

Micah shrugged. "They all sound nice. Lila and Eva are easier to remember."

"I guess I'm the only one who liked Corinne." Mariko shrugged and closed her eyes, still not used to her friend's appearances.

Micah thought for a second. "I think I'll just use my real name. It was the one I was born with anyway." He looked in the mirror on the wall. Hmm…Spencer…in a trench coat. Yeah it worked.

Phoebe bit her lip. With a rush of something not completely unfamiliar she recalled the peculiar but pleasing look in Marci’s eye when he’d said ‘Eva’. “Erm.. I’ll go with Eva for now, I might change to Corinne later.”, she replied.

Mariko headed over to a corner, singing to herself, "You and me we've seen everything to see, from Bangkok to Calgary and the soles of your shoes, are all worn down, the time for sleep is now, but it's nothing to cry about, 'cause we'll hold each other soon in the blackest of rooms."

Micah looked over at Mariko. "Where are you going?" He asked, following her.

Marco grinned and took a step closer to Phoebe. "Pretty name."

"When are we leaving? I don't like being in one spot for a while." Marco sighed.

"To a corner." Mariko tore down a tarp that was covering the wall, showing a cork board filled with pieces of paper and photos and push pins. "My grandfather and I have been tracking down the scientists who operated on me." as well as Kyli. But she didn't say that out loud.
