"Are you seriously going to go out there? It's dangerous, especially for you since you're the main target."
"Are you seriously going to go out there? It's dangerous, especially for you since you're the main target."
"Yes, I can cause a diversion that allows the guests to get out safely. A true queen protects her kingdom." Victoria huffed.
Claira riskily opened the door of the passageway, as she had heard the conversation. "I don't approve, Victoria, but… You could manage if you tried."
William chuckled from her fiestyness, "Well then, I'll join you just to make sure that you're safe."
"I don't need help, it would be better for you to leave instead."
"Are you sure, because I doubt that you'll come back alive when you're going all by yourself. You need backup and if you agree with me coming along, I swear that I'll never let you get hurt. I promise." William took out his knives.
"William," Claira said solemnly.
"I said, don't follow me." Victoria repeated.
William looked down at his knives, he was dazing off. 'Great she didn't accept my offer' he said in his mind.
"Hello is everyone okay?" By this point Xavier's should was throbbing. Most of the people were dead or fled by now. "Ow." His hand was on the wound trying to stop the bleeding. Who knows when they will come back though.
(Bread?)
"We're fine but you're not." Isobel scolded him. "Sit down so I can take a look at your wound." She gave him her scary look.
William sighed, "Fine go without me, but if you get hurt, that'll be all your fault not mine." William walked away.
"Its fine." He pushed past her. All he wanted to do was find Claira and Victoria to make sure they were safe. She better be safe or he would lose it. "Claira?" He looked around but couldn't find her.
(I meant dead haha sorry, I fixed it.)
"I'll go find her. You sit down. Your wounds need to be treated." Isobel pushed him back to the seat. "I promise as soon as I find them I'll bring them to you so you can see they're perfectly fine and then they can scold you for getting injured."
His head hung low. Xavier knew that they were going to freak, he was a soldier. "This sucks." *What was he thinking? He could barely keep up with the low level guards, so what made him think he could keep up with Andion. He hoped that Andion got some help.
Claira stepped out of the shelter, into the hallway.
Xavier held his shoulder, there was already so much blood. "But he was going to move until he saw if Claira and Victoria were safe. "Hurry up Isobel." He mumbled under his breath.
"Sit your ass down now Xavier!" She pushed on his chest. "You're going to hurt yourself more. You're going to eventually collapse from blood loss and then what? What are you going to be able to do? Nothing. So sit down until you get medical treatment. I will go find them."
"Okay." He put his good arm up. Xavier was to tired to fight back at this point. "Just bring them back." He head was hurting and he couldn't see straight. Great.
(wait so clarifying everyone that's not fighting is in the massive tree hollow hideout?)
"I will." She pressed her hand to his cheek briefly. "Try not to pass out while I'm gone." She dropped her hand. "Someone attend to Xavier quickly! If he's not stitched and bandaged by the time I'm back I'll have you all flogged!" She wouldn't but if it got them to move she didn't mind making them fear her. Isobel turned on her heels and quickly left in search of the missing Queen and Claira.
(ah, so they're in a different spot?)
Claira, however, had been right around the corner. She stared at the part of Xavier's face Isobel had touched. She turned and an down the hallway, to the maid's quarters, where she hid in a giant fabric closet.
"This is taking to long." He stood pushing the people trying to help away. "I'll look myself." As soon as he stood up, he felt nauseous. He wasn't going to let that stop him. "Sir, Xavier you really should sit down." He narrowed his eyes at the man. "Leave me." He walked out of the room and down the hall. "Claira!" He called hoping she could hear him. Where is she? Binking his eyes he tried to get rid of the dizziness. "I'm going to keep calling till you come out." Xavier managed to smile.
She heard his voice and giggled. There was no way he would dare enter the maid's quarters, and the chance of Isobel doing so was also quite slim.
