"You think you're so lucky, well guess what I'm gonna prove you wrong." He joked taking the next four balls. One after another, they ended up in the zero spot but the last one made it into 10.
"You think you're so lucky, well guess what I'm gonna prove you wrong." He joked taking the next four balls. One after another, they ended up in the zero spot but the last one made it into 10.
Bridget cupped her hand over her mouth to stifle her laughter.
"Stop!" He said playfully, pushing her shoulders.
"You're making it hard!" she retorted.
"I give up, I'm obviously not gonna win this." Blaze said defeated, trying to keep a serious expression but his lips gave him away.
"No, come on, keep trying," she urged.
Blaze picked up the remaining three balls and rolled them in his hands before agreeing. "Okay."
She grinned and watched him.
He rolled the first two, each which landed in the 200 while the last didn't make it.
She smiled encouragingly. "That was… good!"
"Welp, those were the last of mine. What's your score?" Blaze asked, moving off from the topic that he sucked at Skee-Ball.
"1800 right now," she said, glancing at the 5 balls left for her to shoot.
"I have 1030." He answered, noticing that he most definitely not going to win. "How about we just say you won and move onto the next." He said, not a fan of the one game.
"Alright," she said quietly. Had she offended him? She hadn't meant to… She hadn't dated in so long – wait. This was a date? Thoughts flooded her mind quickly.
Blaze saw her face and whole demeanor change and was quick to try and clarify. "I'm sorry, it's nothing you did, I just sucked at that game and I was getting nowhere. I hope I didn't ruin this." He said in one breath.
"Oh, no, it's alright," she insisted quickly.
"Well then," Blaze said, noticing the now tense mood, hoping he didn't make it awkward. "Our time is up, and I don't want the guy coming over here and making a scene."
She nodded and looked around. "So, where are we going now?"
"Where do you want to go?" Blaze asked her, picking up his bag and heading to the door.
"I don't know. I haven't done anything like this before," she replied, following him.
"Let's stop by a diner then, to end the night." Blaze opened the door for her and handed her his helmet before taking the other and putting it around his head.
"Okay," she agreed, putting on the helmet.
(Let me just say… they better kiss by the end of the night…)
(oh my godddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd im tryna do stuff and you already know it.)
Blaze drove to Pop's Diner(get it cuz… okay… nvm) and parked in the parking lot. He took his helmet and Bridget's off, placing it on the back of the motorcycle and opening the door for her.
(XD)
Bridget smiled shortly, nodding her head at him, and entered the Diner.
Blaze chose a booth by the back near a window where they could see the highway and picked up the menu. He already knew what he wanted but just picked it up because. "What do you want?"
