"Hmmm…well, when I was a kid, my mom would spend the whole day, once a week, making tamales, a bunch of them, and then would freeze some for throughout the week. Those probably."
"Hmmm…well, when I was a kid, my mom would spend the whole day, once a week, making tamales, a bunch of them, and then would freeze some for throughout the week. Those probably."
"I could make you some, if you got me a recipe," she remarked.
"My dad might have it somewhere in one of the boxes of mom's stuff…" She muttered, mostly to herself.
"What? I didn't hear the last part."
"Oh, sorry. The recipe is probably in one of the boxes of mom's stuff back home, so I'd have to give dad a call."
"Alright," she said. "That'll be fine." Her fingers went through again.
"Next question, do you have a favorite movie or movie series?"
"Oh, I love the Harry Potter series!"
"Oh, those are good! I…" She shrugged. "I liked the books a lot better."
"Books are always better. That's a law."
"The only exception is Twilight." She shuddered. "If I had to pick between those, it would be the movies. I couldn't even get through the first two pages of the first book."
((true story
Reese made a face. "Twilight sucks in general."
(True story…)
"Oh, definitely. The movies just suck a fraction less than the books."
Reese shrugged. "Never bothered to see slash read it."
"That's completely and utterly valid, you aren't missing out. I'm going to make you marathon them with me." She grinned mischievously.
"Nooooo," she moaned, dropping her hand to the couch in protest.
"Yup! We'll make a whole event of it, too. And if it's too bad," She leaned close. "We could always spend the whole time doing…other things~"
Reese blushed a bright pink. "Uh- uh, alright…"
"You blush really easy." A. stated, running a thumb over Reese's cheek.
"I've been told." Her skin prickled over where A's thumb had gone.
"Oh?"
It only made her blush harder. "Um… next question?"
She laughed, but obliged. "Alright, what's your major?"
"Communications. Yours?"
"Pre-law, minor in criminal studies. What exactly does being a communications major entail?"
