(I’m writing one, too. It’s called Whispers in The Dark. I got another one called Within The Flames, but I haven’t started working on it yet. At least, not properly.)

(Cool! I'm hoping to get Alma published if I ever get around to finishing it. Also, the book Luna gave Hunter very early in the RP was called "Alma" and I did that on purpose. Sort of like an early advertisement, but for free.)

KENZIE: Oh, yeah?
Well, maybe you'll just have to take me on that date you promised me, and we can both bring our goofballs along. Sorta like a double date, I guess. 😉

"Let's just say I got you a date," Kenzie replied mysteriously, grinning.

KENZIE: Well, Willow's been trying to set me up as an excuse to not dating anyone herself, so this should be fun!

"First off, if I tell you, you'll make a fool out of yourself. And of me," Hunter started. "Secondly, blue's the best color ever. Your tastes have been fried. Thirdly, you dress like a moron."
Hunter had told Kenzie the details of where they would meet up, but since there was too much to decide, they settled on watching a movie. Hunter didn't tell Kenzie which tickets he had gotten. She would be surprised, and happy. He liked seeing her happy.

Kenzie was stressing about what to wear on her first real date with Hunter. She searched through her closet, looking for the perfect outfit, but so far she hadn't had much luck. As far as she'd gotten was finding a pair of black, strappy heels that she was sure she'd only worn once. To a funeral.

"Willow, what am I supposed to wear?!?" she exclaimed to her friend, who was on video chat.

"Show me what you've got," Willow directed her.

They went through Kenzie's closet, looking at each piece of clothing individually, until Willow finally shouted, "Stop! This one!"

Kenzie pulled out a black dress and gave it an odd look. "Huh. I actually forgot I had this dress," she stated.

"That's 'cause you never wear it!" Willow exclaimed, a wide grin on her face. "Wear it tonight. You'll look hot, but not like you're trying too hard."

"Would that be a problem?" Kenzie asked shooting her a slightly fearful look.

Willow shook her head. "Not with you. If anything, you'd look like you weren't trying hard enough."

"Hey! I'll have you know that I actually do try to look nice every once in a while!"

While they were waiting outside, Leo was pestering Hunter for answers. Hunter sighed, baffled by how stupid his best friend really was. When Leo stopped talking, Hunter sighed with relief.
"Wait… I get it!" Leo exclaimed. "You should've just told me! We're meeting your girlfriend, aren't we?"
Hunter almost choked on nothing at the word 'girlfriend'.
"She's not my girlfriend," he said, rubbing his nose.
"Yet," Leo provided. "She's not your girlfriend yet, but she will be! Oh, my Hunter is growing up… younger than me by a year, yet he already found the one."
Hunter never wanted to punch his best friend in the face until this day.
