(Sounds good)
Guests finally started to file — or stumble, as some cases were — out the door a few hours later. Kenzie stood by the tables of food and looked over everything that was left. Most of the good things had already been picked over, but she managed to find one last cupcake hiding behind the punch bowl.
Hunter was nearly dead at the end of the day. Some guests were leaving the next morning, so the guest house was packed. Thankfully, nothing had gone wrong. His father had called him, congratulating him on the job well done. Hunter expected him to make a remark about his girlfriend, but Noah mentioned nothing of the sort.
Tired and exhausted, Hunter finally walked to his friends, collapsing on the couch.
“I am ready to fall asleep,” he said tiredly.
“Well, the day’s over so you can sleep,” Leo said.
“Nah, I got to get home. I’ve stayed here longer than necessary.”
"Well, I'm not going to let you drive in this state, so you'd better figure something out," Kenzie stated. She was worried for Hunter, and it made her bossy.
“I’m not gonna be the one driving,” Hunter mumbled out. “Henry said he got a driver to get us home.”
Kenzie breathed out a sigh of relief.
"Good," she replied. "When are they getting here? 'Cause you look about ready to drop dead."
(I have to go soon, and then I'll be gone for at least a few hours, if not the rest of the night.)
(THIS WAS ON THE SECOND PAGE!!!)
NOOOOO
Kenzie breathed out a sigh of relief.
"Good," she replied. "When are they getting here? 'Cause you look about ready to drop dead."
"He's here, actually," Hunter said. "My things are already in the car. Anyway, I'll have you dropped off at home."
"All right," Kenzie said. She yawned, covering her mouth her hand. "Are you ready to go, then?"
(Bumping.)
(So, I texted my friend screenshots of this RP from page 42 to 46 so that she would read it and catch up quickly, and she saw the cute things Hunter was doing and started fangirling over him. Lol.)
(Aww, Hunter has a fangirl xD)
"All right," Kenzie said. She yawned, covering her mouth her hand. "Are you ready to go, then?"
Hunter nodded. They bid goodbye to their friends, and then made their way to the car where Hunter promptly put his head on Kenzie's lap, his eyes closed. Finally he was going home.
Kenzie smiled down at Hunter and started to run her fingers through his hair.
"Are you going to sleep on the ride there?" she asked softly.
Hunter let out a deep sigh, sinking deeper into Kenzie’s lap as she started to play with his hair.
“Mhm,” he mumbled out, his voice thick with sleep, words slurred. “Your lap’s comfy…”
(I'm going to be gone for a few hours.)
Kenzie laughed quietly. She looked down at Hunter, her eyes soft, and pressed a light kiss to his forehead.
"You're cute when you're tired, you know that?" she asked quietly, continuing to run her fingers through his hair.
"Only for you, sweetheart…" Hunter murmured before he started to descend into the darkness, the smooth feeling of Kenzie's fingers working like a lullaby.

A while later, they arrived at Kenzie's apartment. Hunter was still asleep with his head on her lap, so she tapped him a few times to try to get him to wake up.
"Hunter. Babe, we're at my place. You've gotta get up so I can get out," Kenzie said.
