I think some of the wording makes sense- if not- whatever– //

The island was huge.
At least- from where he stood. Though he could believe if it was bigger.
Stormpaw couldn’t believe his eyes as he gazed around, still standing with his clanmates as they stood at the top of the ridge. All the different scents mingled together, along with all the different types of fur colors and types— and he wasn't even properly on the island yet.
He had never seen so many cats in one place before!
…well he paused, There also was the fairgrounds. He quickly pushed the thought and the memory deep down and in the back of his mind.
The dark brown apprentice looked away from the island slightly, turning to look over his shoulder and higher above, where he, Vixenpaw, and Mistpaw all ran through following Snowbreeze when they were all still kits.
'Then we ran into Flamekit…'

Barkclaw purring brought his back and Stormpaw whipped his head around to face his mentor. “There's no need to be nervous." The older brown tabby mewed, twitching his tail as WindClan began to approach the island to cross. "It's a peaceful truce for the night, I'm sure you know that." Stormpaw huffed, "Yeah, I do." He looked away. "and I'm not nervous."
Barkclaw blinked his green eyes at his apprentice, "well, you had a look in your eye when you were looking over your shoulder. I figured you might be nervous, Stormpaw."
"I've seen the island before," he whispered. It wasn’t a full truth but it wasn’t a lie either. When he did see the island, all the cats inside looked like tiny little ants crawling around. It was a sight he’d never forget.
Barkclaw nodded slowly, before flicking his tail on Stormpaw's flank. "I'm going to talk with Hawkwillow. If you need me, I'll be with him." with those final words Barkclaw padded towards Hawkwillow. His brother was talking with Owlheart.

Stormpaw watched his mentor leave before he quickly took notice of Shadowstar, ShadowClan's leader, leading ShadowClan in from their border and across the tree. Stormpaw scanned all the cats' pelts, he instantly remembered some of their names from the journey.
Gingerflake, the battle-scarred ginger-and-white molly walked beside a small fluffy grey she-cat. The small molly was jumping with excitement. 'Perhaps that was her apprentice?'
Behind Shadowstar was a golden-brown tabby, though in the moonlight his pelt turned silver. Stormpaw has to squint his eyes to realize it was Rainstripe, ShadowClan's medicine cat. A small black cat was limping beside Rainstripe. Their head was bent down but she stuck close to him.
Stormpaw, unfortunately, didn't recognize her but so what?

All that mattered to him at that moment was that ShadowClan was whole again.

They looked much healthier, happier even. A true Clan. The way most warriors that trailed behind Shadowstar walked, they looked fierce and strong.
Stormpaw smiled, though he would admit, some of the ShadowClan warriors looked absolutely terrifying and it made him a bit nervous.
Especially that one she-cat- Oh! It was Skunk!
The large black she-cat walked near the back where the elders were. She was practically towering over every cat in her clan and she walked in such a way that he felt instantly threatened by her. The she-cat had accompanied ShadowClan on their way back home and it seems that she decided to stay with the clan. He couldn't help but remember how he had misgendered her that one time. Her voice was so rough and deep that he honestly thought that the former rouge was a tom.
'I don't think I ever properly apologized to her either…'
The WindClan tom looked away from ShadowClan, waiting rather impatiently for the Clan to enter the gathering. He was just excited, he couldn't wait for the gathering. His first gathering.

While her mentor was busy talking with Hawkwillow, Mistpaw wandered around, trying to see if she could recognize anyone. She immediately spotted Skunk, and made her way towards her. "Skunk!" She smiled up at the large she-cat. "You decided to stay with ShadowClan?" Mistpaw had taken a liking to the she-cat on their journey, and had often talked with her while keeping an eye on the kits.

I love this so much //

Skunkstripe's ear perked up and her head swiveled over and downward. She narrowed her silver eyes as she looked over at a blue pelted molly. She was much shorter than herself, and also very clearly a WindClan apprentice. She smelt of gorse and heather, and she could swear she also smelt rabbit.
"It's Skunkstripe." she mewed, twitching her tail. "And yes. I did decide to stay."
She looked over as Flarefur passed, having smelt her scent before seeing the she-cat. Flarefur lumbered past the she-cat. Skunkstripe dipped her head in respect for the elderly molly before turning back towards the small she-cat.
The dark pelted molly scanned the small she-cat in front of her.
Skunkstripe recognized the WindClan she, she hesitated before commenting. She never really liked to speak as when she was younger she was constantly mocked for how deep her voice was.

An apprentice back at camp wasn't the best at giving her the "Warm Welcome" she was promised by Shadowstar. But it didn't seem to matter as she finally felt at home.
"Aren't you one of the kits who brought ShadowClan back?" she paused, thinking of her name. "…Mistkit right? You look older though…" She cleared her throat. Flicking her mangled right ear.
She was still learning about Clan life. She had an understanding of most things. Like the code, but StarClan? She wasn't sure if she could believe in wise old cats from beyond the grave.

ATHEIST SKUNKSTRIPE HELL YEAH BABY <33 //

@ZephirFox8812

Swiftstar lead her clan into the clearing, nodding to the warriors and elders as they scattered. She stayed with Springheart and looked around, noticing that RiverClan wasn't there yet. Squirrelstar had once told her that 'showing up late is the height of control, everyone else must wait for you until they can start'.

She and Springheart started to move through the crowd towards the tree in the centre of the island, sharing short words and nodding to cats they recognised.

"You haven't joined me at a gathering since before you had kits. Just like old times." Swiftstar said to her mate, wrapping their tails around each other. "I'm glad you could come."

Vixenpaw walked along silently behind Whitestreak and Swanfeather towards the other medicine cats. They nodded respectfully to the older cats and flicked his ears in recognition to the apprentices.

Whitestreak nodded to Vixenpaw, giving him permission to walk around and mingle. He watched Stormpaw run past to meet some warriors from ShadowClan and Mistpaw over by the cat they recognised as Skunk. He was surprised neither of them had gone to find Flamepaw yet. Maybe I'll go find him. They thought to themself as RiverClan flooded in over the fallen tree.

"Barkclawww-" Hawkwillow whined as his brother padded over. "Barkclaw, he's right there what do I doooo-" He glanced over at Fawnstar who hadn't joined Shadowclaw in the tree yet chatting to a few ShadowClan elders, one of which nudged him hard as they burst out laughing.

Fawnstar knew he was mainly here to report on ThunderClan's progress and his own personal goal was to apologise to ShadowClan, he found himself looking around for the familiar dappled pelt of Hawkwillow. He politely excused himself from the elder's conversation and starting padding towards where he could see the most WindClan cats.

@Spring-was-resurrected-electric-boogalo

Boy how I love getting writer's block as soon as I decide to respond and/or get an idea! 🤩🤩 we have fun here <33 //

"You haven't joined me at a gathering since before you had kits. Just like old times." Swiftstar said to her mate, wrapping their tails around each other. "I'm glad you could come."

Springheart smiled, purring slightly, as she shuffled to move a bit closer to her mate. "Being at this gathering is bringing back memories." she sighed, twitching her ear. "Like when we all got announced as being new apprentices?" she looked over at Swiftstar, who was already looking at her. She smiled as she spoke, "I just can't wait for our kits to get that experience."

Barkclaw sighed, sitting down beside his brother as he looked over at the ThunderClan. A ginger-white-and-black calico she was laughing while saying something, though Barkclaw couldn't hear what it was that she was saying. The brown tabby tom shrugged, trying to think of something to say to his littermate.
He was still figuring out relationship problems of his own. He and Poppyheart had been growing close and he did truly like her, but he didn't know if she felt the same. 'Lightningswipe was an honorable warrior. I would understand if she's still hesitant to take a mate again…'
Barkclaw couldn't help but gaze over at Poppyheart, the dark gray tabby she-cat was sitting beside Hareflight. The two she-cat's seemed to be deep in a conversation.
He looked away and faced Hawkwillow. "Well, you could always talk to him. I'll go with you if you want." He offered.

After he spoke, Barkclaw noticed Fawnstar get up and start to walk away from the ShadowClan elders. The ThunderClan leader looked around and when he noticed some WindClan cats, his fellow clanmates, the lanky golden-brown stared to pad towards them.
"He's going towards Redfern, Rowanwhisker, Berrytail, and a couple of others. Just go over." He nudged his brother. Hoping what he was saying could possibly help him.

Mistpaw's eyes brightened at the sound of her friend's new name. "Yeah, it's Mistpaw now, though." She replied. "So, how's ShadowClan been treating you?"

Skunkstripe nodded. "An apprentice? nice."
The large she-cat shrugged at Mistpaw's question. "It's alright." she gave quite the basic answer, though she didn't mean to sound rude. "It's not where I was born, but it's starting to become home."

They thought to themself as RiverClan flooded in over the fallen tree.

SQUIRRELSTAR! LET'S GO!!! //

RiverClan entered the gathering.
Squirrelstar wasq in the front, leading her clan over the tree bridge and into the gathering. WindClan, ThunderClan, and ShadowClan were all already there and waiting.
"Why, Hello all!" she greeted loudly, her voice echoing.
Many turned to look at her and her clan. She heard a few murmurs about how RiverClan had finally chosen to show up. The muscular ginger she-cat ignored the comments, though she would have usually called the cat out. She knew basically every cat around the lake. She had been along for a long while, and she constantly joked how StarClan was going to take her away very soon. But today? no, today she was here and was excited to announce what was happening in RiverClan. She had news to share, plus, she hadn't been this late to a gathering since Adderstar was still the leader of ShadowClan.

Squirrelstar padded through the crowd, her deputy, Silversong padding close behind her. She flicked her tail, signaling to her clan that they could leave and talk to others, and they did just that. RiverClan broke off behind her, separating into small groups as they began to go mingle with the other Clans.

big words <33 //
also- hoping that i didn't misspell or like- makes sentences that don't make sense smh- I've re-read this so many times— Stormpaw is irrelevant ig- I had an idea for him i think but now- nope- i just forgot to write about my boy smh. //

@PastelTart

Skunkstripe nodded. "An apprentice? nice."
The large she-cat shrugged at Mistpaw's question. "It's alright." she gave quite the basic answer, though she didn't mean to sound rude. "It's not where I was born, but it's starting to become home."

Mistpaw started to reply, but was interrupted by Squirrelstar's greeting. She looked up as the RiverClan leader made her way to the tree. "I've got to go back to my Clanmates." She said, turning back to Skunkstripe. "I'll see ya around!" With that, she padded away to find Owlheart.

@ZephirFox8812

"Swiftpaw, Springpaw, Ravenpaw, and Stormpaw! WindClan's new apprentices!" Swiftstar joked. She and Springheart turned towards each other to quietly giggle at Squirrelstar's antics. The evening felt light and the air full of happy energy but Swiftstar couldn't help herself from glancing at the clouded sky, much like many others that night.

"The gathering will start soon, Squirrelstar likes to start it almost as soon as she arrives." She said, watching the large ginger she-cat stride through the crowd towards the tree.

Hawkwillow whined as Barkclaw started to push him towards the group of warriors but started walking there on his own with minimal force. He looked over his shoulder, "Please come with me-"

While searching for Flamepaw, Squirrelstar announced her clan's arrival, and Vixenpaw found himself distracted. They watched as RiverClan spread out, looking for the clan's medicine cat or an apprentice to talk to. He found RiverClan interesting. As they had been the least involved in the fight against ThunderClan, they hadn't heard much about them. A group of young cats caught his eye and he went to join them. Among them was a small patched tom he immediately felt his eyes be drawn to.

@JustALostM book

Flamepaw's ear flicked when he saw all the cats in one place. He was excited yet a little hesitant to talk with other cats. No need to be scared…We have a peaceful truce tonight. Well, until the moon goes down. He realized that every other cat had started chatting with each other while he was alone. Flamepaw noticed His father, Shadowstar, walk over to the tree stump, talking to the other cats. He looked around, trying to locate his friends through all the cats. He saw Mintpaw talking to some Riverclan Apprentices and looked around some more. He spotted Mistpaw and Flicked his tail in embarrassment. The last time they saw each other it didn't end well.

@PastelTart

Mistpaw sat next to Owlheart, looking around to see if she could spot anyone else she knew in the other Clans. Her gaze landed on Flamepaw, and she froze. The last time they had seen each other had been… not so great. Still, however, she made her way toward him.
