Mistkit's eyes widened. "Really? Huh." She smiled at her paws. Maybe we could… After our apprentice ceremony, of course. Maybe, when we're warriors, we could be mates…maybe.

Stormkit bounded over to his sister and Vixenkit. "I heard Flamekit and came over!" he whispered. "I'm excited to finally becoming an apprentice! I just wish you could be becoming one with us, Vixenkit…." he sighed.

Mistkit smiled at Stormkit and rubbed her head against his shoulder. "Me too. It'll be kind of weird to sleep in a different den, especially without you and Springheart." She looked back at Vixenkit as she spoke. "But we'll still hang out, right?"

"Of course! It's only another half-moon anyway!" Vixenkit smiled, "You'll have the other apprentices to share a den with. And I'll have some new kits to be with soon too. And Swanpaw still lets me watch her training."

Flamepaw's ears flicked as he hid in the tall grass, waiting for someone. He heard a rustle and Jumped out. He landed on his sister, Quailpaw, And toppled over. Quailpaw Looked over to him and sighed. "Brother, You're not paying attention! You can't just do that!" Flamepaw shook his head. "I know, I know. I was the practice bait this round, not you." Flamepaw wasn't paying attention to anything. His mind was on a certain… cat.

nah, I don't think Quailpaw would know about the other kits ))

"I think we should start," Swiftstar purred, standing and padding her way outside. She leaped onto the highledge and yowled to the clan.

Springheart purred and looked at both of her kits. "Alright you two, behave when in front of the clan. That means you, Stormkit."

Stormkit huffed, "I do behave!" he watched as his mother softy chuckled, "of course my little warrior." she purred. Stormkit smiled as he looked over at his sister and Vixenkit. "I'm so prepared!" he mewed.

Mistkit took a breath and smiled. "Come on, let's go!" She mewed, padding out of the nursery. If Flameki- uh, Flamepaw, I guess. If he was here, maybe I wouldn't feel so scared. The kit glanced around nervously for a moment, then continued toward the rest of the Clan.
