Silk was already sitting in the main room, shifting her cloak about herself in a flawless manner. Her arms twisted around her neck as she did so. Silk did this for a bit, till she noticed her flexible arms holding her in a choke. She simply laughed and let herself go, resting her hands back on her lap.
She twirled a fireball in between her fingers, just watching it as she walked into the tent. She glanced around quickly before slumping down in her usual spot in the third row.
Arthur arrives to the tent, “Wonderful morning, all!” He says cheerfully
Silk glanced over at the newcomers. She was sitting in the first row, since she was one of the forst performers, and because she liked to see her friends.
“Hello, Arthur!”
Cryrus just sat there, tired, and starving for blood. The smell strong of blood in the tent was making him hunger, but he sighed. He wasn't willing to go that far. He just needed permission from the ring master… But. The price to pay disgusted him.
She let her fire fizzle out, knowing she'd get scolded again because it was a safety hazard. Not like she cared. After 4 years in this hellhole, she'd much rather see it burned to the ground.
Sitting up, Rei quickly got out of bed and threw the thin blankets that he had aside. On a wooden table, a few feet from the bed was his performance uniform, which he grabbed and put on before walking out of the tent that he slept in. It was still somewhat early, and cold, but that didn't change the fact that they all had to be in the main tent by a certain time. Soon Rei had reached the main tent, which was quite a bit larger than those that the performers slept in. Inside of it were the sets of equipment that they used during their performances.
He looked at the tightrope, which was at least twenty to thirty feet in the air, with no net underneath. Coming into the circus, Rei had a severe fear of heights. This, of course, he had been forced to get over in a very small amount of time. Making his way towards the rows of seats that were inside of the tent, Rei pulled his white blindfold from the pockets of his vest and untangled it.
“And how are all of you lovelies today?” He asks in a singsong voice, gazing across all of them, “Cryrus darling you don’t look too well”
Cyrus starts and looks up. "I'll be fine. I can still perform." He mutters, leaning back. He needed blood… He bites his lip hard enough for the red liquid to leak out. But it didn't help at all.
"Wanting to kill myself but that's normal at this point." Karma muttered under her breath.
Rei weaved through the seats and finally arrived in the second row, sitting in a set off to the left and behind of Silk. He looked around the tent, Everyone seems to be here this morning, he thought. Usually, when one of them was late, they were all lit into for it.
“Ahh fantastic” Arthur says to Cryrus, he turns to Karma, and smiles, “just keep getting through the days” he turns back to everyone, “Mistress asked me to inform you to start practicing at your own leasure for today” he announces, “we have a show tomorrow, but none today, so mistress shall stay in her quarters”
She once again twirled her fire in her fingers. She'd heard this speech so many times she could recite it by memory.
He looks up and sighs. He knew he needed to train hard. If he couldn't perform… Who knows what might happen. Nothing good. He shivers and takes a deep breath, heading for the trapeze.
Arthur looks over, “Rei, how sweet of you to join us” He says with a smile, “Let us get in place then”
Silk yawned a bit. She couldn’t preform without the ringmasteress. Maybe she’d just practice her bending routine to get some looks from the guys. She smirked a bit and leaned back in her seat, glancing up at Rei.
“Hey baby. Nice to see you again.” She winked.
Cass rolled her eyes, still just playing with her fire. Come on, the lecture's coming, I can feel it. Because she'd been there for 4 years, Arthur loved to pick on her.
Rei looked at Silk and smiled, "You seem to be in a good mood," he said, standing up. The expression soon faded from his face, as he wasn't exactly looking forward to being off the ground for his practice.
(Sorry for the super short replies, they'll get bigger soon!)
As if he could hear her thoughts, Arthur walked over to her, “Cassandra, darling, dear, you know the rules, let’s put out that fire, and put on a smile”
Cyrus came to the trapeze and inspected it. He sighs softly and looks at the trapeze. He climbs to the top of the pole, stretching as he does so. He relaxes and sighs softly. He was so hungry…
Her fire flickered out. "For the last time, I don't go by that name anymore. It's Karma now." She hissed through gritted teeth.
He smiles in response to her gritted teeth, “of course, well, it’s the same regardless, Karma, no fire in the tent” he stands, “oh Cryrusss!” He chimes
She sighed, running her hands through her hair before standing and waltzing into the main circle. There was only one reason she stuck around. Her brother. Cole loved the circus and he came to almost every show. It was his 12th birthday today, no doubt he'd be there tonight. She smiled a little at the thought of her bright eyed little brother.
Cyrus looks up, forcing a smile. "Yes, Arthur?" He asks, looking at the other tiredly. He gulps. There was a sweet smell coming off Arthur. His blood. Cyrus shakes his head and focuses.
