"Yer lucky I'm stayin' sober today. Tha new guy is fine bah meh," Matt muttered a response as his coffee escapade was coming to a close as his cup began to feel lighter in his hands. For a moment, Asura's face seemed to replace Bastian's as the man ran his tongue along one of his cakepops. He quickly shook his head to snap out of it. Must be tha caffine…

"Pfft, sober is for losers," Bastian laughed once he finished with his first cakepop. "You need some alcohol, cowboy? I've got a nice bottle of vodka back at my place," he purred

Asura's eyes narrowed at Bastian before he turned to Matthias. "Matty, remember, if you break your promise, I don't keep mine."

Axtin gave a light glare towards Bastian. Personally, he saw no point in drinking to the point where you had no control and felt sick. Plus the hangover felt absolutely awful.
"Careful, Sebastian," he warned the man beside him. Were he to upset Asura any further, it was likely that Bastian would be asked to leave. Axtin also wasn't too fond of a few of his comments. For someone so handsome, his mouth certainly had no filter as to what was polite and what wasn't. Though if he were honest, he had the same issue at times.

"Are you guys gonna keep flirting with each other or are you gonna talk about the good stuff?" Lila snapped, nearly slamming her laptop screen shut. "Because you guys need answers and I know how to get those answers," she said, leaning forward with her elbows on her table.

Asura straightened up, looking directly at the woman who had spoken. He didn't recognize her, and he knew she hadn't been around before when they had been talking and coming together about the missing professors. "Who are you?"

"Lila Salazar," she said almost challengingly, extending her hand across the table for him to shake. "Or more importantly the girl who can get you the answers you clearly need so desperately. If you can handle them."
