Oof alright
Dusk had fallen. Sisi was collecting his schoolthings, humming gently as he shoved them into his bag. He hoisted it up over his shoulder and prepared to leave, sweeping his little room one last look.
Liam sat on his motorbike outside, leaning on the handle bars as he watched the sun go down with a sigh. This was probably the most relaxed he'd been in a long time and for once a smile bloomed on his lips at the thought.
Sisi walked out of the lone apartment complex he’d been ransacking for the gang. They didn’t want him buying them food yet, they said it’d be too obvious to his parents. He stretched out, inhailing the sweet evening air.
Liam adjusted his leather jacket as he started up the engine for the bike and headed down the street where he was to meet with someone fairly new to the gang. He pulled a cigarette out of his pocket once he arrived and lit it, waiting with as much patience as he could muster.
Sisi looked over as a motorcycle pulled up. He jogged over.
“Hi Liam!” He’d known Liam as an acquaintance for a while, so he was rather comfortable around the tough guy.
"Hey man, got everything?" Liam asked, stomping on the cigarette at the same time before leaning on the handle bars of the bike again.
Sisi paused. “Yeah, I got everything we’ll need for a while. Hopefully they’ll let me just start to buy food for the gang…” He walked over and mounted the motorcycle.
"Hopefully. But if your parent's get suspicious, don't blame us." He handed Sisi a helmet over his shoulder before starting the engine up again.
Sisi shoved on the helmet. “They don’t care what I do,” He spat with venom, before wrapping his arms around Liam’s waist with a slight rise in color.
"Good. Hold on tight." He smirked over his shoulder before putting the bike in motion, speeding off towards their base.
Sisi smirked a little too, despite himself. He shifted so he could look over Liam’s shoulder as they drove, smiling.
Liam picked up the speed with a slight laugh as they neared their base, the lights of the place shining in the distance. The moon had begun to rise over the place and it looked like some place out of a fairy tale but on the inside it was nothing of the sort.
Sisi raised his chin so the wind could whip through his hair better. He loved riding, especially if it was with Liam. He smiled a little as he held the other’s waist.
"Wanna go straight there or take a little detour?" Liam asked over the wind, looking back at Sisi with a grin.
Sisi glanced at Liam. “A detour would be nice!” He exclaimed this so he could make himself heard over the wind.
Liam chuckled and veered off the road, headed out of town, "Detour it is then." The road became smaller and Liam had to slow down on the corners so they wouldn't hurt themselves. Eventually, he drove off the road altogether, stopping the bike at the edge of a cliff so they could look out of the town.
Sisi smiled as they whipped through the city, raising his head back in the wind, allowing his hair to whip back. He shut his eyes and daydreamed hazily until he felt a stop. He lowered his head, took off the helmet and looked around.
"Ah, what a view." Liam said, stepping off of the bike, making sure it was secure before taking a step away from it, crossing his arms as he looked out across the view.
Sisi climbed off of the bike too, dropping the bag to the ground and putting the helmet back in its place. He stepped forward and sat down on the cliff, his legs dangling off.
“It’s really nice. Hardly compared to how we see it.”
Liam hummed his agreement and sat next to Sisi, only one leg danging off the edge while the other was brought to his chest, his arm resting on it.
"Yeah, that's true. Nice to take a break from everything back with the gang."
Sisi sighed softly and gave a little nod. “Too right. The gang’s so… stressful.”
Liam chuckled, "You're telling me, and you're not there all the time."
Sisi looked up at the sky. “I know I’m not. But it’s better for you, there, right?”
Liam sighed and nodded, "Defiantly better there. Even though it's stressful, they're my family and I wouldn't exchange them for anything."
