If you RP with me frequently enough, you've probably heard of the unofficial organization I use, callef the Shephards. Sometimes I portray them as heroes, sometimes as villains, most often they fit in the shade of grey between the two. My point, they're a group of people who deal with the abnormal, questionable and strange, whether it's thwarting the Reptilian Council, or running, hiding, exploring and surviving through the circles of Hell. These guys take on glaringly superhuman threats on a regular basis, and while usually, I nerf them down into being fodder, they're actually quite a big fucking deal in-universe. And you're gonna find out what makes them so imposing (If you want) here. Whenever someone goes through an experience with the abnormal, they usually either find the Shephards, or the Shephards usually find them, and they are recruited to a camp, adequately, but terribly named, Camp Badass, by the quirky "Director" and mentor, Trevor Iverson, a "veteran" Shephard (Ranked Lt. and retired.) This camp will test your limits until you surpass them, expanding your intellectual depth and richness to amazing levels, making you a pillar of strength and honing your skills to their peak. There's a reason these guys go head to head with Biblical and intergalactic threats.

Rules…
-Rated PG to MA, in the original story these guys are in, the "Boot Camp" Arc is actually pretty easygoing, with little to no gore or smut.
-No IRL hate, be chill.
-No controlling others' characters without permission.
-This RP was made to showcase how awesome humans can be, so humans only. You'll get to play with magic and tech anyway.
-Original characters only.
-No Mary Sues or Kiritos, you don't know more about being, nor are you better at being, a Shephard, than a veteran Lt. Camp Director, and two seasoned Staff Sgt. Shephards, that's not to say that they don't make mistakes (in fact Trevor is quite goofy), but still, every time I try a school/camp RP about dealing with the abnormal, somebody wants to go ahead and be the Sasuke.

Also, not to spam the shit out of my own thread, but your characters get the choice of picking their cabin. Here they are.

Nirvana, is the cabin which got it's name from those who inhabited it. Mostly hippies, honestly. You can still see traces of them. Leftover doobie roaches tucked under a bunkbed, posters of Bob Marley and John Lennon here or there, all that.

Bifrost, is the most normal cabin, in fact, it's shower has the best water pressure of all the cabins, but there is a draft, so, equal trade.

Heracles, is the name of the cabin that got the worst of it, positioned in the area where the Illinois weather hits it the hardest. Where the others would've crumbled it has stood the test of time.

And last is Raijin, which was named that for the kanji etched into the side that says the same thing. It's nearest the toolshed.
