Vincent approached his usual tree, and was happy to find people already there, "I don't normally run into people with the same bias against foot wear that I do." He commented leaning against the trunk, his comment directed at Angel.
"K." Angel then walked with him to the courtyard, took off her socks and shoes, and laid down in the grass under the shade of a tree.
She took a deep breath and tried to let the stress of her first day roll off in the wind.
Daelan sat next to her, leaning back on his elbows with a small smile on his face. The “borrowed” book lay next to him on the grass on its back. “So, what’re you here for, if you don’t mind me asking?”
"Oh, uh…yeah." she replied. She didn't expect anyone else to be over here. Still, she figured she could just be quiet and let them do their thing.

"Well, I'm a 'supernatural teen,' so…I'm here." She didn't really know what else to say. She was never really into talking about herself except with close friends. She always preferred to listen. That, and she didn't really know why her parents sent her here. They said something about finding out more about her people.
Vincent chuckled, "We're all 'supernatural teens' lass, what exactly makes you supernatural?" Vincent asked as a fallow up question. "I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours, I'll even throw in a little demonstration."
Angel thought for a minute, deciding on something that she thought was ok to tell complete strangers.
"Well, I secrete amber instead of sweat."
Could've gone with something less gross, but ok.
Axil watched this conversation awkwardly. He didn't know what was happening or who these people were. He sat up and picked up the textbook again and started to read over. "An incantation, a spell, a charm, an enchantment, or a bewitchery, is a magical formula intended to trigger a magical effect on a person or objects." quietly.
Vincent raised an Eyebrow, "Interesting, That doesn't sound Pleasant." He pulled out one of his water bottles, "I do this." He poured some water into his hand, freezing it impact, "Or this," He dropped the Ice and forced it to hover in the air before plucking it out of the air, "Or this," The Ice evaporated in his hand, jumping straight from a solid to a gas. He put away his water and shrugged, "That's just about it."
"Cool. And actually, it's not that bad. It's what gives my skin this glittery sheen." Angel said, rolling onto her side and curling into a ball.
Axil smiled. "I can do something as well." He said, getting up. Both his tails detached from each other and he started to hover about ten feet off the ground but then fell. "Whoops. My stamina's down.." He sighed, sitting back down.
Marcus walked into the library to get a replacement for his book. He was greeted by the librarian who was quite fond of Marcus, as he spent most his time in the library. Marcus loved the quiet of the library and the calm he felt in there. He quickly found a copy of the spells book and continued browsing for more books. When he finished gathering the books, he went to his favorite spot in the library, a cozy corner nestled between the book shelves. However, to his surprise, he found that someone else had taken his usual seat.
Vincent smiled at the two, " Are you guy's new student's?" He questioned, "Normally I have this tree to myself, Not that I mind, I quite enjoy the company." He came to a sitting position against the trunk.
"Yep." Angel spoke, looking up at Vincent. "First day. Was lost pretty much the entire time."
She started braiding small strands of her hair to distract her from the embarrassment.
"Eh." He sighed. "I came here about a month ago?" He said leaning on the tree.
(Sorry its short. Im in a rush-)
(ack sorry i was busy!)
Daelan shook his head. “I’m not new,” he responded. “I just don’t usually sit here. And I’m a dragon, but I’d rather not give a demonstration. Transforming into my true form takes energy and a lot of space, so maybe another time.”
Vincent raised an eyebrow, "A dragon?" He glanced down at the spell book next to the boy then back at him, "I wasn't aware you could do magic?"
“I might be able to,” Daelan corrected, his face going a bit red. “I’m not sure yet. I haven’t heard of any dragons doing it before, but I also haven’t heard that it’s impossible, so I’m going to try.” He shrugged.
Vincent smiled knowingly, "I would recommend returning that when you're done, Marcus is bound to miss it." Vincent didn't know exactly who Marcus was, he thought he might have heard the name in passing. His name was written clearly on the Spell book, hence Vincent's comment. "I don't believe I know your names, Would you grace me with that knowledge? Mine is Vincent."
"Angel." she whispered just loud enough to where the older boy could hear her. She sat up and decided to start drawing patterns in the dirt with her feet.
“How do you know my name isn’t Marcus?” Daelan asked, teasingly. “It could be my book. Not all dragons are thieves and liars.” He smirked at the other boy.
Angel thought it'd be best not to get involved in the 'Borrowed Book' quest.
Although his sister had said to make friends and be social his first instinct was to study on the outside ground bench, for around new people he was deadly nervous and well unless he immediately hit off he was super awkward. His pen flew across his page and soon halfway through his notes it turned into handmade sheet music for the piano.
(Hey, could I possibly join this? It says open but it looks like you've already started, would there be room for me?)
(Thanks! Could my character have a teaching position?)
