Alex's hair was a mess. He was up all night studying for the magic test. Don't fall asleep…at least not in the hallways. Alex thought, half asleep. He decided to go to the courtyard to practice magic. My wand- Where's my- He thought, getting cut off by the speaker system, ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: THE MAGIC TEST WILL BE TODAY AT MR. BRAL'S CLASS AT 8:40. IF YOU DONT ATTEND, YOU WILL GET A 0. THANK YOU Alex sighed. All he does is lift a feather. ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT: DORM MATES WILL BE CHOSEN BY THE RANK OF THE PERSON. THANK YOU
"My third year here. Probably going to be Dorm mates With headmaster" One of the student's joke. Alex didn't care. He got his wand and finally got to the courtyard. He sat by a tree and Opened his spellbook. ot dehcatta erew uoy eno eht ekil ylf He said the spell quietly. A small spark flew out of the wand and the second it hit the father it started to fly.

Austin was pretty much unconscious on one of the benches in the courtyard. His clothes and hair were covered in dirt and he wasn't wearing shoes. A few of the other students kept glancing at him and laughing. One brave student had found a leaf and was slowly creeping forward to try and drop it in Austin's open mouth.

The student dropped the leaf. It landed on Austin's nose rather than his mouth. The student ran off, laughing. Austin slept on, blissfully unaware of everything around him.

Adrian couldn't help but yawn as he stepped out into the courtyard. His black umbrella shielded him from the sun, but its rays were practically screaming in his eyes. Slowly he blinked trying to adjust to the new day and the adventure it might bring. Despite being here for the last year or so, it was still difficult having to go to bed at ten then wake up at six. It amazes him how others do so every single day without feeling like they were pulled out of a different reality. All these other students are lucky; if only he could be like them. Nevertheless, he will have to get used to this.

He strolled over to a bench besides a tree. There was someone with a wand practicing magic, so he just went to stand on the farther side of the bench. Squeezing the handle of the umbrella, his eyes scanned the surrounding area. Everyone was bustling about getting to classes while talking about dormmates. Is today really the day for that? The previous year he was set with a faerie who managed to turn his nose into a bat-like one. It really messed up his senses, not to mention his appearance. Looking down at the grass, Adrian chuckled to himself while shaking his head.

In the corner of his eye, he noticed that there was someone on a bench close by. A small group of students did approach the person but they ran off. Adrian roll his eyes before deciding to walk up to the sleeping person on the bench himself. Gently, he removed the leaf letting it fall to the ground. His hand reached out to touch the other's shoulder only to end up pulling it back.

Pinching the person's nose and closing their mouth does not seem like the most appropriate way to wake them up. On the other hand, he doesn't really want to touch them either. To hell with it. Opening his satchel, Adrian took out his water-bottle. Throwing water isn't also respectful, but it gets the job done. Unscrewing the cap off, he poured some water into the cap then slowly poured the water on the person's forehead.
