"What's there to talk about? You're just going to find some way to bully him. Then you'll be just as bad as him." Phoebe walked passed him back to the small table she had claimed. "So whatever you're planning to do, leave me out of it. Or better yet, don't do anything at all and trust me."
"I don't care, I just want him to get a taste of his own medicine…" Paige mumbled. Without actually going near him, if that's possible. She added in her head.
Vaughn exhaled sharply, running a hand over his face. None of this was working out. It wasn’t safe there. He still felt the pressure seeping into his lungs. He struggled to remember his breathing exercises.
Paige noticed Vaughn's expression change slightly. He seemed more tense. "You okay?" She mouthed.
"Maybe we should just get Sacia and Zanna and leave this crap place." Artemis whispered to Vaughn and Paige.
No. Vaughn glanced at Paige, giving a quick nod. He didn’t quite trust himself to speak, fearing it would come out wrong. He also nodded at Artemis in response to her idea.
Paige nodded at Artemis as well before continuing her silent conversation with Vaughn. "What's wrong?"
“I’m fine, Paige,” Vaughn mouthed back, taking a slow inhale of air. He wanted to get back to his dorm, his one safe space.
"You just said that you weren't." Paige mouthed, sighing.
Artemis hated to interrupt whatever these two had going on. "So, do we want to meet up to discuss that later then?"
Paige nodded to Artemis. "Sure. When? After lunch?"
"If we're done here, you all can leave." Phoebe interrupted them.
She nodded. "Yeah, whatever works."
Vaughn shook his head at Paige before looking between Artemis and Phoebe. He gave a hum in response and stepped towards the door.
Paige nodded to Phoebe, standing up and pushing her chair in. She turned to Artemis. "After lunch then. We'll meet here." She kept her voice down.
Phoebe sighed. Finally, alone again. She opened up one of the books she had grabbed and opened it. (Reid now?)
Vaughn stepped from the library and walked down the hallway towards the cafeteria. He really didn’t want to eat, though. He wanted another dose of medicine.
Paige left the library and followed Vaughn to wherever he was going. She assumed that running down the hallway would get her in trouble, so she fast-walked, struggling to keep up with him.
Vaughn heard footsteps behind him, but decided not to worry about it. He took a sharp left, going away from the cafeteria and towards the nurses office. They’ll give him another dosage, they have to. He couldn’t breathe.
Paige was surprised when Vaughn veered away from the cafeteria. Where the hell is he going?
Zanna shrugged and walked back to the cafeteria. It wasn't her fault Reid was a d*ck. She was just going to do something to make him stop.
Phoebe stood up. She was done reading these pointless books. She grabbed her back and stepped out of the library, on the hunt for Reid.
Reid walked into the library. He saw Phoebe and grinned menacingly.
