(Um, ok, let's see. Maybe they could trace the marks of Alastair's power back to where they are?)
(Um, ok, let's see. Maybe they could trace the marks of Alastair's power back to where they are?)
(Sure?)
(just a suggestion, idk)
(Alastair has powers?)
(dammit you're right he doesn't, I got mixed up. Then you can trace Althea's power back to them)
(Sure. Could, you remind me what powers she has?)
(She can read and control minds)
(Oh. Alright, I remember.)
Marco ran out of the alley and smelled power. He'd never been able to smell a supernatural being's power. He did the only thing he could do, he followed the scent. (I have no clue what this is. It'll lead him to you two. It's really bad, XDDD)
The elevator opened. Althea stepped out, digging her pocket for her keys. Once found, she pushed open door 221B (I'm sorry, I had to) and waved Alastair inside.
(what's the building like, for where you guys are?)
(it's tall, white, in front of a park, with lots of windows. it's very polished looking)
(Alrighty.)
Marco stopped in front of a tall, white building. He entered and went into the elevator. (Let's just say he's right behind you two, ok?)
(Deal.)
Althea was about to close the door when she heard footsteps. Assuming it was a neighbour, she stepped back out to say hi.
Marco tried to fake a smile, it didn't work. "Hi. Um," Marco leaned against the wall trying to look casual, "I know this is weird, but I smell your power. I don't know how or why I just do."
A sinking feeling filled her gut. "What do you mean by powers?" she faked.
Marco frowned, "don't play innocent. I think you can read and control minds. I use ice magic, we're not that different." Marco silently pleaded for her to not control his mind.
Althea did a quick scan. He knew, and he wasn't going to let go. She closed her door halfway and appraoched him. She raised her hand as if to shake it, then brought it up and hit him around the head, hoping to at least daze him.
Marco staggered backward, "Shit, lady that hurt." Marco froze the ground and her feet, she was stuck.
(I feel like I'm the only person who survived the Titanic. ) (Plz don't question my sanity.)
"Godammit. You cyrokinetics always have a trick up your sleeve, don't you?" she complained. She dived into his mind; he unfroze her and opened the door to the apartment. He walked inside, and she followed. "But telepathy always win."
Marco felt as though she was shoving his head into a pool and suffocating him. He could talk with his own words but couldn't use his other body parts. "F*** you, lady." (Can we drop the f-bomb?)
(ummm that's up to @Twitchy)
Althea mock-bowed and shut the door behind her. She sat Marco down and released him.
Marco didn't try to leave. "What do you want?" He spits on the floor.
Althea grimaced. She'd just washed her floor. "Why did you track me here?"
