Half a century ago, the great Tyrant-King, Grishtam, ruled over a third of the World. A resistance, working on liberating the people, rose, and inspired the masses, shortly before it was tragically snuffed out.
One of those it inspired, was the King's son, who took his father's life, so that the people may prosper.
Now, however, a Necromancer has arisen, and a great, skilled one at that. He has resurrected Grishtam, as a near-godly Undead, and together, with the Necromancer as his advisor, they have grown monstrously, enslaving the Elementals, amassing a small empire, and the Horde is more unbeatable than before. Looks like the times of liberty and peace are drawing to a close.
Then we have the New Resistance. We start in the country of Coelisteria, in the city of Lonecliff. As this TO goes on, we'll be travelling to and from other cities and countries.

Her wings are huge - when open, they reach about three 'heads' above them, and the bottom tips are at her knees. When closed, they brush along the ground.
Skills: Sword fighting
Abilities: Magic, flying (duh. but she cant fly until her coat is off)
Gear: She has a sword forged in the fire of Cordova from her father before he died almost 7000 years ago. She mainly wears a coat to hide the fact that she is a Mariposa and to hide her face.
Magic: She specialises in healing, but has many more powers that are not as concentrated
The Mariposas were once plentiful. In every town you visited, there was at least one family of Mariposas. Then they suddenly all disappeared. No one knew where they went, not even Giselle. But she knows that they are most likely all dead: She was only 7 (3500) when they disappeared. There are many legends surrounding their disappearance. Everyone knows that a Mariposa only ages one year every 500 years. But there are more legends than facts now. The most common one is that if a Mariposa finds their true, true love, no matter what species, they will age the same way their love ages.
