Luna nodded and began to quietly move towards what looked to be the stairs, "O-Okay."
Luna nodded and began to quietly move towards what looked to be the stairs, "O-Okay."
Panther stood up and rubbed his chin "that was an unseen variable, but he is a strong asset, his father is very powerful and for you to have someone like that by your side, That would be useful thing." He said
“Ah, I see. So we’re about on the same page regarding Uriah. Good to hear that there’s finally a little something we don’t butt heads on. He and I happen to work very well together, and of course, he’s a dear friend too. Would hate to hear that someone else I put faith in was potentially not to be trusted.”
Cyrus shifted his weight a bit. He sat back down to take the pressure off his knee, and hissed in pain when he bent it, even just slightly.
(What Pantger doesn't know is that Uriah actually killed his dad, and now run a weapons industry himself. So he is the powerful one now! Mwhaha!)
"Lets take you to the doctors rom and get your knee checked"
“Heh… the guys that came and got me fucked it up pretty bad, huh?” Cyrus laughed through gritted teeth, “I guess that’s fine, but I’ve got a lot more questions coming your way.”
Panther sighed and nodded "fine, just very your knee fixed."
Cyrus grabbed the crutches again and got up, hobbling forwards.
“You coming, old man?” he asked.
Uriah slowly followed behind them hoping not to be seen. Wait, but if they are excited I'm alive made they won't kill me if I just walk out. He tapped his ear comm twice and spoke. "They are headed to the infirmary." He followed a bit longer. Uriah decided he would show up once they were in the infirmary.
Sparrow narrated what Uriah said to Luna and started walking towards the large room.
Panther nodded and started following him. he locked the control room behind him and out the key around his neck. upon reaching the infirmary, he took out a key card from his jacket and swiped it. The door opened and led into an elevator. "Because this isn't the Guild, this building has more security measure to make sure we don't have another…incident like yours. To go in any of the major rooms and dormitories, it is necessary to have a key. The infirmary has a key card access because alongside medicine, we create our gases and poisons in here. Below this room is the room we use to get answers. I will show you around once your knee is healed enough." he said and stepped out of the elevator and gestured to the large colourful room. "Welcome to the Infirmary."
Taking in everything around him, Cyrus had even more questions.
“Where are we then? Obviously this isn’t the guild, like you said.”
One of the medics stepped forwards and led Cyrus towards one of the beds. He rested the crutches up against the wall, sat down, and carefully unfastened his brace. His knee was terribly swollen and painful to the touch.
Luna followed after Sparrow. She wondered why they would be heading there. Was Cyrus hurt? Did they injure him so badly that they needed to fix him up before continuing this sick game? Her mind started to come up with worse scenarios and she shook her head to try and get rid of the thoughts.
A keycard, great. Well, looks like I'll need to show myself now. Uriah stood and walk to the locked door. He was a bit scared that if he banged on the door, another assassin would come and just straight up kill him. Deciding it was the only way, he started to bang on the door as loud as he could. "Please be Panther." This would be the only time he wished to see Panther's face.
"Yes, this isn't the guild. It's another location away from the base. I had it–" he was curious if a banging in the door. "Who could that be?" He muttered and looked at the cameras. "Oh look, your friend Uriah has found us."
“Uriah?” Cyrus managed, stopping what he was doing to look towards the door.
How was he going to explain all of this?
Usually Uriah would wave or something, but at this moment he could only stare dagger at Cyrus. Sure he was happy that Cy was okay, but the things he said was something he didn't know if he could forgive. "I won, so are you going to let me in?" Uriah was close to passing out, he pushed his body too far and too hard.
Panther pressed a button and the door opened, letting Uriah come inside to see Cyrus in the bed and Lanther leaning against a wall with a congratulatory smile on his face
Cyrus’ eyes grew huge when Uriah walked in.
“Oh my god… Uriah…” he gasped, “Are you alright?”
His expression was much softer than when he was talking to Panther.
“The girls… are they really…?”
Uriah's face changed immediately when he mentioned the girls. Panther was right there, so he had to pull himself together and act his way through this. He nodded and looked at Cyrus with sad eyes. Open the damn door already. The infirmary beds looked like heaven to him. All he wanted was to lay down.
Cyrus sighed really hard. Uriah wouldn’t lie to him too. Unless it was because of Panther’s presence. He was a fool to ask the question so openly.
“I’m so sorry…”
The doors opened and Uriah walked inside, panther grinned and gestured to a bed "I apologized for drugging you with the amnesia drug, but it was necessary." He said
“Amnesia drug?” Cyrus questioned, more concerned than before, “Uriah, are you alright?”
(I mean, Luna did tell Cyrus Uriah had a few gaps in his memories.)
(I guess, but he didn’t realize how bad it was maybe)
"Amnesia drug?" Even Uriah didn't know what Panther was talking about. He then turned to Cy. "If you don't count my mental state and the pain all over my body, then yeah, I'm doing fucking fantastic." He walked to a bed and laid down. Finally he could rest. Although he still had to be alert, which sucked. All he wanted was some peace, no more fighting and running to survive.
