Esmae shot one of her stars the had a string attached to it. Aiming for Sparrow it wrapped around her leg and Esme pulled as hard as she could. Cyrus was too easy, now Sparrow would be a challenge. Esmae just wanted them to stop treating her and the others like children, they were assassins as well, and they needed to see that.

@ShadeStar

Katya glared back up at Sparrow. She had no reason to be mad at them, if anything they should be mad at her. Cyrus didn’t get hurt…. This time.

Vida jumped down onto the final platform.
"I did it! I wo- Wait… Hello?"
Vida saw that she was now the only one on the obstacle course. Had she taken so long that everyone had left her?

Cyrus leaned down and picked his crutch back up as the kids stepped away.
"Thanks, Sparrow."
He looked back over to the obstacle course where Vida stood alone at the finish. He laughed quietly to himself at her dedication.
"Vida! Come here!" he called.
She started running their way.

At least they got him to the ground. Esmae stood and walked over to the group. "Good job guys." She whispered to Katya and Nathan. They made a good team. Even if she didn't get to have any action. "Next time." She reassured herself.

Uriah made it safely to the guild. Although he was stopped at the door, he managed to convince them that he was there to be an assassin for them. Training had started immediately. While he was there he realized that he still had a lot to learn and although this was an enemy guild, he still made sure to learn what they were teaching him. Maybe it would help when he got out of here. "New guy. Time for a break. Go unpack your things." Uriah just nodded and walked away. He needed to write the guild immediately. Instead of unpacking he took out some paper and began to write.
Hey guys, I made it in safely and no on has asked questions… So far. I'm learning quite a bit and hopefully will be more useful in the future. I'll get back to you when I find out more. Miss you all. -Uriah
Folding it he stuffed it in his pocket and snuck out into the massagers birds room. A breath of relief came from here once the letter was out. Now he just had to make sure not to get caught.

Sparrow put a hand on Cyrus' arm and turned towards the kids "are you insane? Cyrus has a broken leg, is 30 above the ground and alone. Why did you think it was a good idea to attack him?" She asked.

Nathan winced at her scolding and looked down. "We just wanted to prove ourselves." He murmured.

Sparrow laughed and gestured to the course "why did we bring you up here? Obviously not to have fun. The fact that you guys decided to attack a fallen comrade shows us that you aren't as skilled as you think you are." She said. "I'm going back to the guild, I need to work on my blind attacks. Are you coming?" Shs asked Cyrus

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Hm." Esmae just smiled. Who was she to say if they were skilled or not. It was Cyrus who was unskilled, he should have paid more attention to the first attack and maybe he would be injured. "Whatever, we could have made it through this course easily."

@StarkSpangledMayflower_Mad_Elder

"Right, between the two of us, you wouldn't have made it without either getting wet or hit at least once." Sparrow sneered. She was fed up with the cocky attitude Esmae kept up. Any longer and Sparrow was bound to kick her ass

@Becfromthedead group

Cyrus was about to protest and say his leg wasn’t in fact broken, but he kept quiet because that wasn’t the point.
“You know, at least Vida actually tried to work and train,” Cyrus said, “Half of being an assassin is having discipline, and clearly, you lack that. Acting on impulse and hard feelings is a good way to mess up, and even get yourself killed.”
He looked to Sparrow. “Yeah, let’s go inside.”

"I've done pretty good so far." Esmae looked down at Cyrus leg. "I haven't had an injury like that before. Tell me Cyrus, what does it feel like?" Esmae was getting fed up with the way they talked to her. "Oh right, by the way Voda was the one who gave you that injury. She ain't a saint nor an angel." Esmae threw her shooter on the ground and walked away. Fuck them. "I should have left this place a long time ago."

@StarkSpangledMayflower_Mad_Elder

"Then leave." Sparrow shrugged "if the rest of you want better training from Phanthers elite assassin group, come with us." She said and pressed a button. A pullet system brought up a elevator type platform Sparrow got on and helped Cyrus get on. She used the rope to pull them down.

Esmae sat in the dark, head between her knees. Esmae, your special. A voice was heard, but she knew it was only in her head. "Shut up." He made her this way. That's why I need you. "I said shut up!" She looked for anything to throw, but there was nothing next to her. A little light came from her closet. The room smelled of vanilla. Her bed was hard, so she couldn't sleep well at night. Nobody loked her here, so what was th point of staying. On her vanity laid some scissor. The next thing she knew she was cutting her long blonde hair. As it fell to the floor she looked up in the mirror and realized she had been crying. It was almost like she didn't recognize herself. Her hair was now uneven and a mess. Quickly wiping away the tears she packed her things. To the left sat a ball, she didn't want to be alone. Throwing the ball in her backpack she snuck into Uriah's room and took lots of cans of dog food. "I'll find more somewhere when I run out." She carefully made her way down the halls making sure not to be seen. Now the only thing to do was to find Freedom. Esmae figure she would be outside so that's where she went.

@Becfromthedead group

Cyrus let out a heavy sigh.
"I feel like we're a bit too harsh on her. She needs our help, Sparrow. Sure, her actions are often uncalled for, but I dunno. They messed her up back there. They messed all of these kids up back there, and they act… different from how kids are supposed to act. I want to help them, but I'm not completely sure how."

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Freedom, where are you?" With every step a little bit of loose hair would fall off. It bothered Esmae because it made her itchy, if only she rinsed it off then it would be better. "Dang where did she go?" As she rounded a corner she saw Cyrus and Sparrow and hid. There was no way she wanted to see them right now. Esmae only hoped that they didn't hear her.

Esmae finally found Freedom at the edge of the forest, again staring off into the distance. "Freedom, thank goodness I found you." The voice of Esmae perked up the dog. Immediately she started to lick her face. Esmae was glad she didn't jump behind of how big she was, Freedom would definitely knock Esmae to the ground. The wolf dog was the perfect companion, she already was so well behaved and protective. And Esmae didn't have to be alone. "Alright girl let's go." Yanking her backpack up further, she took a deep breath and started off. The Dog was close at her heels. Every once in a while they would stop for water and Esmae would give the dog a treat. It almost felt as if it was meant to be, especially since her pet was always running off leaving her by herself. Freedom was calm and loyal. At one point they stopped due to Esmae's back hurting a bit. They tan around and played, Esmae would throw sticks and Freedom would bring them back. "Uriah trained you well." She was grateful for that, although she did feel bad because she was taking her away. Walking a bit more, there was something on the ground. "A hatch?" It was weird but her curiosity got the best of her. Opening it she told Freedom to wait. Bunk beds lined the walls. There were a few rooms, although small. A kitchen was to the left. It smelled of sweat and alchohol. "Gross, this place is a mess." After looking around she grabbed things that could be useful. A knife, more cans of food and a few bottles of water. The fresh air was nice, it smelled a lot better then down there. As she got out a pile of dirt with some withered flowers caught her attention. But was the weirdest thing was that Freedom was lying on it. Dropping the things she gathered she walked over. "No name, but it's definitely a grave. Did you know this person girl?" Esmae sat next to her and laid her head on the animals stomach. "Let's rest." The girl had a long day, long and emotional, it had drained her. Her eyes closed and the darkness took over. Rustling came from the right and Esmae immediately woke up from her sleep. It had only felt like she was asleep for a few seconds. Freedom was already on alert. And on top of Esmae, blocking her from harm. "Freedom move." She pushed the dog and went for her wrist shooter. The moment she touched her wrist, the image of her throwing it down at the guild passed by in her mind. "Damn it. Guess we are going this the old fashioned way. Her backpack she had left by the bunker, thank goodness it wasn't too far off. Her feet moved by themselves. As soon as her back was turned from the sound three men in all black appeared from their hiding place. Freedom close behind Esmae turned and took after one of the men. Wind went by Esmae's face and she froze, only for a second before grabbing the knife she had thrown on the ground and swung up. It caught one of the men in the shoulder. He stumbled back and fell over the bunkers opening. While Esmae took care of him, Freedom grabbed one of the others around their neck. Esmae finished up he rguy and tan to Freedom's side. As she gripped his throat, he hit and kicked her to get off, but it didn't faze the wolf dog. Slowly but surely he stopped moving. "Good girl!" Esmae slid on her knees in the dirt to hug her. The sound rang through the air, causing Esmae to turn. How could she forget the other guy? As she took the knife in her hand and ran after him another shot rang through the air. And as it did Esmae's body fell to the ground. Did I get hit? and as if everything went slow motion. She stood and saw a difference body fall, along with whimpering. Freedom. Freedom had been hit, in the chest. It was then that the world had actually stopped or what seemed like for Esmae. Her feet wouldn't move, all she could do was watch, that was until she was hit as well. Her body spun and hit the ground right next to her friend. With all her strength, Freedom crawled on top of Esmae's body. Another shot and another. After what felt like forever. The sound of footsteps disappeared. "No." She scrabbled to push the dog off of her. "No." She gathered the dog in her arms. The limp body of the only thing that cared about her sat in her arms unmoving. Blood stained her light brown fur. She was gone, and it was because of Esmae. "Wake up, please, please wake up. I can't lose you as well." It was as if she was saying good bye, the dog manged one last lick to the girls arm. "No!" She screamed violently. After an hour, which only felt like a few minutes. She dragged the body of the dog next to the grave she had only laid on only and hour ago. Near the sight a shovel. It didn't take long for Esmae to dig a deep enough hole for the body. Falling to her knees, she lifted the dogs head to her forehead. "I will always remember you." With one click the collar was off and with another it was on. Esmae put the collar around her own neck. Though not her style she decided that she would always wear it. She pushed the body in and covered it up. It was only till then that she could cry. Her hand grabbed the name tag. "Freedom." It was now what she promised she would get and give to others. The Freedom to live the life they want.

The doors slamming open. She stood in front of Sparrow and Cyrus. Her hair uneven and full of dirt. It stuck to her face because of the sweat. Her face tear stained and cover in mud. Her clothes were filthy and blood dripped from her shoulder from where she was shot. "Teach me. I'm a good fighter. But I want to learn patience and team work, I want the knowledge to not be a good assassin but the best." Although she had just got done crying, eyes eyes were filled with fire and determination. She wasn't going to let anyone she love die again. And she would get her revenge.

(So, so sorry its long.)
