"I said let me go!" Esmea began to kick and hit Uriah, trying to break free. "Alright lead the way." He tried to put a small on, but this girl was getting under his skin. She was rude and disrespectful to everyone around her.
"I said let me go!" Esmea began to kick and hit Uriah, trying to break free. "Alright lead the way." He tried to put a small on, but this girl was getting under his skin. She was rude and disrespectful to everyone around her.
"Uriah?" Alex glanced between the girl and Uriah "What the hell?"
"I-It's a long story Alex," Luna sighed. This child was a pain in the burro. She made her way to her room leading Uriah there. She took a deep breath entering her room and going to lock the window. She walked over to her desk to grab the half written letters and her books.
"Ah, we found her." Esmea looked to Uriah and frowned. "Don't make it sound like I'm a lost puppy you muscle brain." Uriah rolled his eyes tired of her already. "We are now just taking her to a room so she won't hurt her arm anymore than it already is." He said before walking away with Luna.
Alex looked bewildered "'Aight… mind if I follow you guys? This place is so damn huge it'd be nice to follow someone."
"We might need an extra pair of eyes." Uriah smiled and waved his hand for him to follow. (Sorry it's short I'm boarding my plane soon)
(It's fine.)
Luna walked back to the boys, "Th-the room is ready."
Alex followed close behind but also keeping his distance from the brat that Uriah was holding onto.
Nathan ran into the bushes and crouched down. He saw a sparkling thing and pulled up an old rusty can. "We can use this to cut our ropes!"
Kat reached for the can. She was one of the older ones, and probably wanted oit more, "Give it here."
"Please free us all!" Nathan asked, his eyes welling up with tears
Kat sighed and started to cut away at the ropes with the sharpest edge on the can. She managed to free herself before looking to the others. She had a battle of morals before going to cut away the little boys bindings too.
Nathan smiled gratefully. " thank you, now where do we go?" He asked
"Away," Kat said. Once everyone's ropes had been cut off she had stood up and headed deeper into the forest. Her hands shoved deeper into her pockets. If anyone followed her whatever, she was just getting away from the mean people.
Nathan quickly ran after her "h-hey wait!" He cried out and followed her
Katya sighed and glanced back to see the little boy following her. She paused for a second, "Hurry up then. What's your name anyways?"
"I'm Nathan. Who are you?"
"Katya," she responded continuing on at a much slower pace than before.
Vida had followed closely. She was making sure they weren't being followed.
"I'm Vida," she whispered, "But you can call me Vi, if you want. Any clue where we're going?"
She paused as a chill ran down her spine.
"Well, aside from away from here…?"
"No duh," Katya rolled her eyes. She kept looking around for anything that could shelter them for a night.
Vida frowned. "Doesn't answer my question," she grumbled under her breath.
She kept walking forwards, looking for any sign of people- any sign at all.
"Guess we should keep going. If we stop, they could still find us, right?"
"Duh," Vida asked dumb questions. Katya kept moving pushing some branches out of the way going deeper into the forest.
Vida walked on. She made sure Nathan was keeping up alright. He was even smaller than she was, and she couldn't help but worry. Vida was rubbing at her wrists, which were rope-burned and stinging furiously. She sighed and kept reminding herself it could be worse. It could be worse…
(I'm thinking that the kids come into White Wing territory in a bit? We can time skip to the next morning)
(Sure. All these event could take place a few days ago that way the story with the older character's doesn't need to be rushed forwards?)
