Cyrus managed a smile, for the first time since he'd arrived. "Thanks," he whispered, "I could use the support."
He limped on ahead, towards the infirmary, and his heart was already racing.

@ShadeStar

Luna rushed into her room and slammed the door behind her. She slid down with her back against the wall and placed her head between her knees. It was nothing, right?

@Fantasy-Illy!

The room had been cleaned and Zhavia had nothing to do. She took her wrap off her are to have a look. It was still extremely black, blue and purple and hurt when you touched it but it should be fine. She looked around the room and wonders where Luna had run off too?

@ShadeStar

Luna shut her eyes. She had calmed down, her stomach growled as she remembered she hadn’t eaten yet. With a soft sigh she got up and opened the door before walking to the cafeteria.

Zhavia couldn't shake off this chilling feeling she had. SHe went outside to take a breather. "It's okay, they're not coming for you, your safe here." She put her head on her knees and sat outside. The breeze was cool which felt nice on her skin.

@ShadeStar

Luna entered the kitchen and grabbed an apple. She could never eat much in the mornings no matter what she tried. She took a bite as she walked out enjoying the bitter cold as it hit her skin.

Much to Cyrus' surprise, the healer did not question how he came to be in his current state. She simply asked about his injuries, what hurt, how long they'd been there, and anything else that might help her do her work. Most of the wounds she was simply able to clean out, put an ointment on, and bandage, but the one on his leg was a bit worse. On one side of his thigh, reaching down a little past his knee was a jagged wound that was teeming with infection already. It hurt considerably worse than any of his other wounds, and it made movement difficult. The healer switched to stronger medicine and gave him a small tub of the ointment and a roll of bandages.
"Keep the bandages clean and change them often, and please put medicine on when you change them. The infection could get worse if you don't," she explained, "Come back if you need more supplies or pain medicine."
Cyrus nodded in agreement and then got up to go. He looked at Eira.
"Could've been much worse," he told her.

@Fantasy-Illy!

Zhavia heard footsteps and she turned around to see Luna walking out. For some reason, she hid behind the pole and just watch for a bit.

@ShadeStar

Luna took another bite. It felt like she was being watched. Her senses went on high alert as she scanned the area.

@StarkSpangledMayflower_Mad_Elder

Sparrow ran in the room "CY! What happened? Didn't you use the healing slave me and Eira made for you?" she asked worriedly. Cyrus always protected her from Panther's fury when she messed up, it was time she returned the favour. Just then Max ran in (max is a 10 year old messenger who treats Sparrow and Eira(?) and Cyrus(?) as siblings) "Sparrow! Panther heard about Cyrus!" she panted

@Fantasy-Illy!

Zhavia was waiting for something to happen. But she knew Luna wasn't stupid in fact she was probably one of the smartest people here. She knew not to trust easily and has very good control of her senses. "Hey, Luna" Zhavia popped out. Luna would find her out sooner or later. (Honestly I've really been looking forward to Zhavia and Luna alone together to see what would happen haha)

"I try… I try so hard, and I don't mean to worry you all so much. I would have used the healing salve, but I lost a lot of my supplies trying to get out. My bag was open, and I was in such a panic… I lost a couple of knives, the salve, and some of my rations. Probably other stuff too." Cyrus turned to Max, then to Sparrow. "Hey! Wait! I have a better plan!"

@ShadeStar

(Let’s go!!!)

Luna eyed Zhavia. She still wasn’t quite sure what to make of the new girl. She said simply with her thick accent, “What are you doing here? Why were you hiding?”

@Becfromthedead group

"Play off my injuries as worse than they actually are. Exaggerate everything. Say I basically dragged myself in, I was on my last legs. That should be enough to get me extra time to rest, and maybe some points for sympathy," Cyrus explained quickly, "Holding him off my trail is just going to make him angry."

@Fantasy-Illy!

Zhavia looked away. There was something about Luna that made Zhavia want to leave but she somehow felt a connection with her. "Well, you see I wasn't expecting anyone to come out here, and so uh, I just hid because I had a moment of weakness and didn't want anyone to see," Why was she telling her all this? She would be the last person to know she had a moment of weakness but somehow she couldn't stop. "So, what brings you out here?" Zhavia changed the subject.

@ShadeStar

Luna made a mental note of Zhavia’s mention of weakness. Would she ever probably use it, no. Her features softened only just a tiny bit as she said bluntly, “I just needed some fresh air and to get away from everyone. It gets stuffy in there.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

Zhavia sighed as she slumped on the staircase. "You're telling me" Zhavia laughed. Zhavia couldn't help but just stare at Luna, she's very good at keeping a distance, but that could hurt her one day. Zhavia kept people at a good distance to where they will help her if she needs but also where if she needs so she could cut them off, she knew from a young age people don't stay long in each other's lives. Zhavia spent her whole life watching people and analyzing them, she was good at reading people, but Luna was different. Her face expression never changed once as she was looking off to the distance. If only Zhavia could get a little something out of her she would feel accomplished somehow.

@ShadeStar

Luna nodded. Prople had never been her strong point, that’s why she always kept to herself. Only opening up when she needed to. Zoe was an exception. She had to be after the years of helping Luna with english and combat training. She sat on the stairs eating her apple, “They always come but never go. It gets to be annoying.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

"You know you're a nice girl and easy to talk to if no one else is around." Zhavia smiled "It's nice to have a conversation with someone that's more like me. I feel a bit out of place here if you know what I mean." Zhavia stares blankly into the distance. She's never had a good grip on her emotions, sure she can shut them off if needed but she also has the tendency to blow if pushed too far. Honestly, Zhavia hates it here it's too weird like more happens here and we just don't know it, places like this always have a few hidden things they don't like to share. She snaps out of it and looks at Luna "So, you really like Zoe I've noticed. What's it about Zoe that you like so much?"

@ShadeStar

Luna looked at the ground. She said in a hushed tone, “She really helped me when I first got here. I didn’t understand anything or anyone. She helped me understand. That’s all.”

She wouldn’t give anymore than was nessecary. Yet she felt like pouring out to this new girl. She reprimanded herself and stayed quiet. She shouldn’t pour her soul to a stranger. Maybe she didn’t have to be a stranger though.
