Eira smirked when a Zhavia looked at her designs, “Yes, please, look at the designs for my new collection. I’m Eira and this annoying thing is Ray.”
Eira smirked when a Zhavia looked at her designs, “Yes, please, look at the designs for my new collection. I’m Eira and this annoying thing is Ray.”
"They're exquisite!" Zhavia was impressed with how well made these were. Her eyes went to a dagger that looked more rustic but had a bit of a gold color to it. "You made these?"
Sparrow gasped in mock outrage "I thought we had something special Eir?!" she shrieked lowly "Now you are forgetting to introduce me!" she put her hand on her heart "Oh the Outrage!" she shook her head then looked up at Eira with a smirk
“Yup, all original and all made for the guild. Well, I say guild I mean whoever I chose,” She shrugged, “So, Cyrus and the over dramatic one here mainly but there are others that use them.”
"Do you make dual Daggers?" Zhavia asks bending down a bit closer. She surprised at how easy it is to talk to them. It was new to her since she was an outcast at her old Guild. "I'm close combat so having two would help me a lot. How much should I give you to make me some?" It didn't feel right if she didn't pay her anything. "Hey!" A booming voice comes from the door. "The Director wants to see your skills, so come with me to the training hall," Zhavia sigh in frustration. "Duty calls." Zhavia stands tall changing into assassin mode "Come by and see my skills some time. I think we'll be good friends." Zhavia smiles as she walks out.
Eira walked after her, “I’ll come now, I’ve got nothing better to do. Panther said I can have a few days off to design them as the guild needs more durable weapons. And you don’t have to pay me anything, everything is for the guild and you’re new so why not give you a Welcome to your new home type of gift.” She shrugged.
Zhavia tried to hide the smile on her face but it wasn't going as planned. She was really warming up to Eira, she's nice. "Hopefully The Director finds my skill useful, I'd hate to transfer again." Zhavia pulls her old daggers out of her boots preparing for what's coming. Because who knows what she'll be up against.
“Oh, we call the Director Panther. I don’t particularly now why and I’ve been here for ten years. Wait! Are you honestly going to fight with those?” She looked at the daggers Zhavia was holding, then at Zhavia then back to the daggers, her mouth open like a gaping fish.
"I mean these are the only ones I own," As soon as Eira pointed them out Zhavia noticed how old they really were. The blade was rusting and the handles were loose. "You need to hurry we don't have all day," The guard behind Eira and Zhavia said as he gave both of them a push on the back. "Hey, Don't touch me!" Zhavia spun around and pulled the dagger on the guard. And she immediately regretted it. She knew that it was against the rules to do that to someone of higher authority. But, she has always had a problem with people telling her what to do. "I-I mean I can walk faster without you having to push me." Zhavia dropped her arm to her side. "We're almost there." The guard said glaring down at Zhavia without her knowing.
“Bowen, this is a matter of importance,” Eira said to the guard behind them,
“Eira, I understand that-“
“No, you do not understand as you are a guard, my most trusted at that but you can tell Panther that I have taken Zhavia to find a more suitable weapon as she does not want her to embarrass herself and have her weapons breaking mid way through. Got it?”
The guard, Bowen, nodded, “Of course, Tenebris.” He bowed then walked off.
Eira grabbed Zhavia by the hand and quickly hurried down a secluded hall with not many light. She soon dropped it, pushed on a loose brick to revel a hidden chamber lined with many beautiful weapons.
"That guard listened to you, You must have gained a lot of trust in this place?" Zhavia said as she looked through all the weapons. I got to do my best today or I'll end up moving again. Zhavia sees two daggers that catch her eyes. They have a blade on each side of the handle with hand guards to keep her safe from cutting herself. "I like these. Did you make them as well?" She asks as she fiddles with both the daggers in her hand. "Oh, and sorry about my outburst earlier, I tend to let my emotions take control some times."
“It’s fine, we all have them sometimes. As one of the best assassins here, not trying to be arrogant or anything, a few of us have more of higher authority. So Bowen will listen to me,” Eira sat at a chair behind a desk in the middle of the room, “Everthing in here is of my design. Now those are from my most recent collection but not many poeple use dual ended blades here, so please, take ‘em.”
"Thank you!" Zhavia shouted a little louder than intended. She couldn't contain her excitement, these blades made her excited to fight. "Do you have any idea who I may be fighting?" Zhavia follows Eira out of the secret room and down the hall. "Do you have a close combat fighter here?" Zhavia couldn't contain her competitiveness. Her eyes held a fire in them as they always do when she is about to go into a fight.
“Well, I’m the best at swordsmanship out of everyone but it’s not me, so I’m not sure. I haven’t been in an initiation type combat since I joined. Even then I can’t remember a lot of it as I was eight.” She shrugged and pushed open the massive wooden doors.
“Ah, Eira you decided to finally bring Zhavia.” Panther said, smirking.
“Sorry, Panther but I just could not have poor Zhavia here fighting with her old blades.”
“So you gave her two of yours?”
“Yes, because I acutually like her and want her to do well.”
“Well then, Zhavia, into the ring!” Panther said.
“Good luck!” Eira said with a smile and walked to Panthers side.
Zhavia gave a smile and walked off. The first thought when she saw her fighting partner was 'weak' He was tall with black shaggy hair and a stance she could knock him down in a second. But if she has learned anything it's don't underestimate anyone. She felt a bit more nervous with Panther watching, so she did what she was good at and shut off her emotion and got into her stance. First, she was going to get him off balance then take him down in one blow. But, she was surprised when he took action first. "Well, it makes it more interesting." She shifts as he takes her head on and missed. She kicks him in the middle of his back with her heel and he stumbles forward. She then swoops down and takes out one of his legs and he falls to the ground. She laughs at him even trying to struggle under him. "Heh, weak!" She raises her blade ready to stab him.
“Zhavia! No killing in initiation!” Panther roared. Eira didn’t flinch at his voice only motioned for the ten to take her on. Normally it would be three or so but she seemed good enough, hopefully.
All ten surrounded her, taking up a fighting stance. They new what had happened to their previous assassin and waited for her to move first.
alexander watches from the rafters "i would listen to him if i were you."
(Sorry I’ve gotta go, seeya soon!)
(later)
(I dont understand, what are we doing?)
"Fine, I won't kill anyone. But that doesn't mean I won't injure someone," So, ten huh? She thought to herself. I knew the first match was too good to be true. I'll have to take on the smaller pry first, bigger guys are harder for me since I'm more speed than strength. She looked around to see who would be first when she spotted a girl with a crossbow. A little unfair but I can use her. I run toward her as the others follow but I just dodge their attacks. I swing around to her back and she tries to turn to face me but she's too slow. I'm not the best at aiming but I'll try. I aim at one of the bigger guys if I can take even one down that would help. I shot but it only grazed his leg. "Dang," I bite my lip. I bend down seeing a shadow from behind if I hadn't moved I would be dead since it was aimed at my head. I thought no killing was allowed? Maybe he would have stopped before it hit me. But the poor girl standing in front of me took the blow as the blade went into her shoulder. Ouch! As I was bent down I take out the guys leg with my new dagger. It sliced so nice and clean I was surprised. He fell to the ground in pain. Two down. As I was praising Eira's amazing craftsmanship, I was picked up from the ground and thrown across the room. I roll a few time before stopping. Pain shoots up my left arm. Dang, it won't move.
(Due to health issues I have to go to sleep. But I'll be back tomorrow at some point to pick up where we left off. So, goodnight.)
( WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!?!)
(to be honest i have no clue, my guy is just in the rafters ready to stop this)
Zoe watched from the rafters in interest. She studied and observed, she knew how these people fought, the new girl wasn't as bad.
