Andion chuckled, "Thanks love." He picked up a shell that was mainly white with swirls of light pink and handed it to her.
Andion chuckled, "Thanks love." He picked up a shell that was mainly white with swirls of light pink and handed it to her.
Blaine took it with a smile and leaned over to peck his lips. “Thank you… What are you doing?”
"Organising the shells, what else." He shrugged as if it was obvious
“I don’t know… I thought you wanted a massage, though, babe,” Blaine mused softly.
"I do. But shells are more important." He muttered.
Blaine hummed and watched him, silent for a few seconds. “How many did you get?” she asked softly.
"Twenty," He replied, flipping one in his fingers for a moment before placing it down, "Twenty two with the two I gave you."
“That’s a lot of shells, babe,” Blaine chuckled softly. “Are you keeping them all?”
Andion pouted, "As much as I want to, no. Only the best few."
Blaine hummed softly. “That’s probably a good idea. What are you going to do with them?”
Andion shrugged, taking a little longer with one shell, "Put them on display when I can. They're like… good luck charms, to me anyway."
“Well… Have you ever had one made into a necklace?” Blaine wondered as she watched him. “I’ve seen some like that.”
“A long time ago, yes,” He muttered, “But I stopped.”
Blaine examined him softly. “Can I ask why you stopped?”
Andion shrugged, “There was this… little girl at the guild. We both shared our love for shells and the ocean and she was basically my little sister. I made her necklaces all the time and then… Thranion sent her on a mission and she didn’t make it. I stopped after that.”
“Oh… I’m sorry, Andion,” Blaine sighed and rolled into her back to stare at the sky. “Another reason to leave, then… I hate that place.”
“No need to apologise, Blaine,” Andion offered her a slightly sad smile, “But yeah, it only adds to the reason to leave.”
Blaine hummed her acknowledgement before turning her head to glance at him. "Are you done? Should we go back to our room so I can give you that massage?"
“Yeah just give me one…” He paused, picking up a couple of the shells, “Done.”
"All right, then. To the room," Baline chuckled softly, thankful for the subject change. It was getting a little too close for her at the moment. She just wanted to enjoy their little 'vacation' for as long as she could.
Andion chuckled with her, picking up a couple more shells befor he stood and walked to where he had dropped his clothes. He picked them up with one hand before headed back over to Blaine, “Ready?”
“In a moment,” Blaine said as she stood. She pulled her light dress over herself before walking over to Andion. “All right. I’m ready.”
Andion nodded and smiled at her, "Great. Let's get going." He took one last look at the shells he left before starting to walk.
Blaine hooked her arm through his as they walked. He had really seemed to like those shells… She wondered if anyone in town made jewelry out of them. Maybe she could ask them to make something for him…
Andion hummed quietly as they made their way back to the tavern. The crashing of the waves mixed with his humming and the seagulls made for a peaceful environment.
