Andion smiled back before getting distracted by something on the wall. Before king, there were at a small booth set in the middle of the side wall, “Here you are. I’ll be back shortly to take orders.” She smiled brightly at them before hurrying off.
Blaine sat down in the booth, glancing over at Andion. “What’s got you so interested?” she wondered.
Andion shrugged, “Just saw an interesting document on the wall.”
“Ah… Mind my asking what about?” Blaine wondered, curious.
“Mermaids.” Andion replied, leaning forwards on the table.
Blaine quirked an eyebrow. “I see… And what was so interesting about a document about a mythical creature?” she wondered.
“Just reported sightings,” Andion shrugged and grinned, “Probably not true but cool though.”
“Mmhm. It’s pretty cool… I, personally, like the myths about sirens better. Luring men into the sea with their deadly song,” Blaine chuckled. “Reminds me a bit of myself…”
Andion snorted, “Are you planning on killing me then, dear siren?”
Blaine pretended to think for a moment, humming. "No… I like you, so you can live."
Andion chuckled, “Well that’s reassuring. Thank-you.”
“Any time, love,” Blaine chuckled, smiling over at him.
Andion shook his head with a smile before grabbing a menu, “Right, what to eat.”
"Hm… I was thinking the chicken stew looked good," Blaine mused, going back to looking at the menu.
“The rabbit pie sounds nice.” Andion said, scanning the menu.
Blaine clicked her tongue, nodded, and went back to the menu. “Honestly, just about everything sounds good right now,” she chuckled.
Andion laughed with a small nod, “All too true. But I think I’m going with the pie.”
“Hm… And I still want that stew,” Blaine declared, glancing back down at the menu.
Andion places the menu back down and chuckled, “Okie dokie.”
(Should we skip to after they eat?)
(Sure, also I’m flying back home in like, an hour so I might not reply for a day or so time is weird)
(Okay! Stay safe!
Time is very weird)
(Yup)
After they had both finished their meal, the waitress came back with a smile, "How was everything?"
“It was great, thank you,” Blaine said, smiling politely.
The girl beamed brightly, "You're welcome!" She took their plates and walked away.
