The creature lashed out, jaws snapping inches from Daze's face. The action wasn't out of malice, but out of fear.

"Stop wasting time, Daze." Jack hissed, starting to become impatient. Perhaps it would have been better for him to take the lead instead. When the person lashed out, EJ instantly moved Daze out of the way, holding her gently so as to not hurt her. "The fuck..?"
His eyes snapped to Jack and narrowed, growing almost snake-like. He didn't like the sound of this man's voice.
I watch from the tree and I tilt my head to the right, I watch closely at daze and the person by the tree trunk
The male was on all fours, his body wolfish in stature.
Daze gently wriggled out of EJ's grasp. She opened her mouth and began singing a soft, calming song, her blue aura fluttering
After a moment, the creature moved over and circled the female, cocking his head and sniffing at her heels curiously.
He made sure to stay as far from EJ as possible.
Daze held out a hand slowly, wanting to touch the creature, but not wanting to startle it.
The creature- animal?- man?- dropped his head into Daze's palm. Black fur covered his chin and ears- distinctly wolfish- sprouted from the mess of dark brown hair.
Daze's eyes were big and she scootched closer. "You're so cute…" She gently reached to scratch behind his ears.
He made a low chuffing noise, his expression lightening and the blacks of his eyes turning back to white.
(yes hewwo am scawy bjork bjork)
(lol, the best Bjork Bjork)
Daze giggled and nuzzled the creature, "Who's a good boy, You're a good boy!"
EJ's lip twitched a little and he let out a loud groan of disgust. "Guess I'll go and hunt by myself then." he started walking away then looked over his shoulder one last time at Daze. No words came from his lips, but that didn't mean he wasn't showing something of a hurt expression. I knew it was too good to be true. Slowly, he began to walk further away. "If I see that thing in the house, do not expect me to be nice to it."
The male's two tails(?)- or was it a bikaku?- started to wag lethargically.
(oh dear….)
Daze looked back at EJ, then the dog creature, unsure of what to do. Suddenly she started to cry, the confusion over whelming her. She tried to keep it silent, but failed miserably.
I jump down from the tree from the other side and I start running and I run into slender forest and I try to catch my breath
Just as Jack was getting closer to the human they had found, that's when he heard crying coming from Daze's direction. I've done it again, haven't I? In one swift movement, EJ tore off his mask and threw it onto the ground in frustration, then proceeded to run back in the direction he had come from. I need to stop making her cry, it's not good for my health.
Daze let go of the creature and curled up into a ball, eyes wide as she tried to stop the tears. She began to mutter to herself as she rocked gently, whispering things about how she was weak and other self-degrading comments.
(please help I am much lonely and lost)
When Jack returned to the scene, he found Daze in a ball, weeping. He went down to his knees, panting, and pulled Daze into his arms. He'd read in a book that hugging someone was supposed to comfort them, but when he did it, it just felt awkward to him. "Hey, it's okay.." he mumbled, rubbing her back gently. "Daze, look at me."
Ben had been wandering around, still looking for some enjoyment, when he happened upon the girl from earlier. Jayden was it? The one who had been drawing. "Is everything okay?" he asked, something seemed off with her.
(Everyone else who is still really RPing is outside right now. EJ was going to hunt with Daze, but Daze got distracted by @TrippingOnStardust's character and she ended up crying and EJ tends to keep hurting her, (probably has a crush on her) and Death is just observing right now)
Daze looked up, words still tumbling out over her mouth rapidly, tears streaming.
