"What are all these people doing in the house?" EJ grumbled, his face seemingly staring at the abundance of people rifling through the armory. "I don't remember them being here…" he scratched the back of his head, how long had he been asleep for?
Daze shrugged. "Slendy decided he needed more proxies… And he accidentally had to get them all at once."
"Accidentally?" EJ stared over the people in the armory, sighing in disgust. "I'm not sure how one accidentally gets this many proxies at once, but I've learned not to question anything that guy does." He turned away from Daze and mumbled. "What's wrong with his old ones anyway?"
With a shrug, he started making his way back down the hall. "I'll be around if you need me, probably."
He became a little distracted by his tiredness while walking, and ended up bumping into a girl who was just wandering around. She seemed to be looking for something, or someone. Another girl?? Where are all the guys? "Sorry."
Daze sighed and shook her head. EJ was a great guy, generally, but he definitely wasn't someone who warmed to others easily.
Another figure slipped into the armory, a little confused as to why there were other people there, but somewhat happy? to see them nonetheless. His green hat bobbed a little when he moved , and his red eyes glowed a little brighter than usual. "Hey, Daze? These guys proxies or something?"
"Hmm" Jayden turned to see Eyeless Jack "Oh hey Jack…oh…uh…you don't know me sorry. I'm Jayden" she held out her had hoping Jack wouldn't see the burn she had accidentally put there when she had made ramen noodles
Beneath the mask, Jack raised an eyebrow as the girl stuck out her hand. Was he supposed to shake it? Reluctantly he did, feeling the uneven tissue where a burn sat. "Jayden. Nice name." He let out a soft sigh as he let her hand go. "Who are you looking for?"
"Either my traitor of a brother or Tobi" Jayden said but talking about jeff made her voice harsh and cold but the mention of Tobi made a bit more normal
"Your brother being Jeff?" He asked skeptically as he took in all of the girl's features. Now that he thought about it, there was a clear resemblance between the two. Great, another Woods… Just what we all wanted. He shook his head slightly, he needed to play nice for a change. "Why would you be looking for Tobi?"
"Yeah cursed with him and oh i wanted to show Tobi a drawing I made of him also if you put me in the hate space with jeff rethink it all i want is to strangle him sometimes other times it's the matter of a knife or gun" Jayden laughed at the thought and waved the thought away
The girl spoke so quickly that EJ zoned out for most of the sentence, all he really heard was 'Jeff', 'strangle' and 'knife or gun', so the only thing he said was "Knife." He noticed a sketchbook with the girl, and seemed to eye it curiously. "May I see your art?"
Jayden looked at the book she was holding "Uh…yeah" she handed the book over to Jack "I think some need improvement"
Jack slowly took the book from her, making sure he didn't touch her hands accidentally, and flicked through the pages back to front. When he came upon the drawing of Tobi, a slight snicker left his lips. It certainly looked like the goofy twit, that much he could say for definite. "You have a nice art style." His words were a little awkward, as if he didn't really mean them. He just didn't know how to compliment someone on something he knew nothing about. He just didn't know how to compliment, period.
Asher went to go sit on the floor, frowning and staring off into space. He might have been spacing off, or listening to everyone's conversation. You never know.
(I forgot she had a scar from hitting a thorn tree on the side of her face)
"Thanks but sarcasm isn't needed I actually like criticism" Jayden smirked but didn't smile because of her scar from the tree when she was a kid "I usually get harsh comments on the people or things i draw"
Daze turned to Ben Drowned. "Yeah, they just got recruited. What are you up to?" Daze liked Ben. He was a little weird, but weren't they all?
"I wasn't being sarcas— Never mind, forget I said anything." EJ slammed the book closed and handed it back to the girl. It was getting too hot, he needed to take his mask off the breathe but he wasn't going to do it in front of the girl. "Try making the eyes a little more narrow, and the nose a little wider. And as for the idiots themselves, try asking Daze or Ben. They seem to know a lot." Jack turned away from her, waving two fingers in a salute as he walked back down the hall. Small talk was never his thing, nor had getting to know people. His kind of social interaction only lasted about twenty minutes or so, and the other person was almost always unconscious so it didn't really count. As he walked away, he slid the mask onto the side of his head and took a deep breath of the cooler air. I should work ventilation points into this thing.
Ben glanced aimlessly around the room, as if searching for something. He wasn't, he just wasn't a fan of looking at people most of the time. "Nothing really, I'm bored. I'm dying for a bit of excitement around here."
Asher was sitting in the hallway, right in Eyeless Jack's path. He didn't make any noises and had put up an illusion, so no one could tell he was there unless he spoke.
Daze glanced over her shoulder at the new recruits. "I have a feeling we'll be getting some here soon…"
Jayden continued on her search for one of the guys she was looking for sighing she started mumbling to herself "I wander where they are?" she finally gave up and sat down on the floor and started again on her drawing fixing small details and working on the faces of Jeff and Tobi
"Oh good." Whether or not Ben was being sarcastic, was to be decided. "So," he took a sudden interest in the new proxies that had appeared in the house. "Mind telling me a bit about the newbies?"
As Jack was walking down the hall, he could feel a strange presence near him. It seemed to be right in his way too… Quickly pulling the mask back over his face, he looked down at a spot on the ground, as if he could actually see someone sitting there. "Stupid kids." he kicked out at the presence in front of him, gritting his teeth together. "Thinking they're all special just because Slender chose them. It doesn't mean shit."
Jayden looked up after feeling like she just got kicked and pulled out a gameboy and played The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
"Hey! We're not all kids!" Asher's voice rang out from in front of Jack, catching his foot with one of his clawed hands. "I'll have you know I'm ages old." He huffed, still remaining cloaked by his illusion.
"Yeah yeah, that's what they all say." EJ hissed, a broad grin appearing underneath his mask. It vanished as quickly as it had appeared. "Let go of my foot, would you? I have places to be." He still couldn't see the person who spoke, but the hollow sockets of his mask bore straight into their eyes.
(oof)
Jayden finally got to the pool of water she usually wasted time playing around and made Link jump in it just to piss Ben off
