Livia showed them to the door. Ferran paused. "Thanks Liv." She smiled. "Take care, Ferran." And with that she closed the door. Ferran caught up to Alice. "So…what's the plan?"

"Well, we have to find him and hope he helps us. If he doesn't…" she shivered. "Let's just hope he will."

Ferran nodded. "I could be there and back before the sun sets but you wouldn't be able to keep up with me."

"I'd rather be there. Is there some way you could take me with you…?"

"Well…uh…" Ferran cleared his throat. "I…could carry you…" He blushed.

Alice stared at her toes, also embarrassed. "I suppose… if that's what it takes." she said, not sounding at all like herself. She cleared her throat. "Are you sure you're strong enough?" she teased, sounding a bit more like herself.

Ferran chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "I think so…"

"Okay… uh, how…?" said Alice, suddenly embarrassed.
