I've been noticing some weird things lately…
Like what?
Well I was out walking a couple days ago when the statue at the corner of Northwestern and Finch….it just…disappeared….
Alice cracked her knuckles nervously and told Ferran what Livia had said. It's just… gone?
Yep
"Weird…" Ferran mumbled.
(gtg sorry)
(it's okay i've got to go soon too anyway)
Yep
"Weird…" Ferran mumbled.
(gtg sorry)
"What do you think happened to it?" she asked him.
He thought for a moment. "Well…the author stopped writing so the world is disappearing, so that means that it just….stopped existing."
She shook her head. "That's not good." Livia… you need to get out of there. Everyone needs to get out. The story's stopped. The world… it's disappearing.
There was a pause. I'll get the others….but we can't save everyone.
We have to try.
Ferran peered anxiously at her. "Well? What are we gonna do?"
"I… don't know." She frowned. Would it help if we came back?
Yes it would.
Okay. Alice looked at Ferran. "Are you okay with going back?'
Ferran took a deep breath, trying to smother the anxiety rising in his chest. "Ye-Yeah…"
"You sure?" she asked, concerned.
He glanced to the side, trying to keep her from seeing the panic in his eyes. "Yeah it'll….it'll be fine…"
"If you say so…" Then she shook her head. "You don't have to go, you know."
"NO!" He blurted. "I can't let you go alone!"
"You shouldn't go just for my sake." (Why do I feel like they're always having this conversation?)
(Idk cus they're just like that?)
Ferran shook his head. "No I have to go with you."
"Like I said, if you say so…" Okay Livia, take us back.
Remember you have to be connected otherwise I can't get you two here, especially in this situation….
Right. Alice smiled reassuringly at Ferran, and reached for his hand. He looked a little shocked at her touch. "We have to be connected," she hurriedly explained, embarrassed.
