@Ervie
Alice smiled wider and followed Livia back into her living room, Ferran close behind.
Alice smiled wider and followed Livia back into her living room, Ferran close behind.
Just as they were getting seated, the doorbell rang. Livia glared at Ferran. He cleared his throat. "Oh…I forgot to mention…we brought some people with us."
She nodded, smiling for a third time. "Quite a few, actually…"
Livia sighed. "Its fine…" She chuckled. "I'm just not used to company I guess…"
Alice stopped smiling: her mouth was starting to hurt from the strain. "So… we need to ask you a couple questions."
"Go ahead."
Ferran took a deep breath. "Can you help us get back to the beginning?"
Livia stared at him blankly.
"Well actually," Alice said, glancing at Ferran, "I was thinking more along the lines of teleporting out of the story." She looked back at Livia. "Can you do that?"
"What story?" She asked with a blank expression. Ferran cringed. "Oh crap, we didn't tell her the whole thing…"
Alice put her head in her hands. Time was surely running out. "Would you believe that the world we live in is fake?" she asked, her voice muffled by her hands.
Livia thought for a moment. "Yes…I would with good reason…."
"Like proof?" Alice asked, hopeful.
"Anything."
She exhaled. "I don't know if this counts as proof, or if you'd believe this, but… do you know what my powers are?"
"Yes you read minds, am I correct?"
The corners of her mouth lifted a bit. "Yes, I can read minds. Any minds… the minds of those in the 'real world' included." She paused. "I can hear voices from another world."
Livia raised an eyebrow. "Really! Who's?"
"Everyone's." she said, her eyes flashing. "Their minds have more presence than ours… they're harder to block out. They drive me crazy!"
(Time to eat… be back as soon as I can, okay?)
(FOOD! GO GET IT!)
(YEAH! I'm back!)
(COOL!!)
Livia thought for a moment. "What is the so called inventor of this world thinking?"
(Heeehawwww I'm back just got home.)
(Yeehaw)
Alice looked down. "He died. That's why they're ending the comic."
