Well that confirmed that they were gay. It confused Sora with they way they spoke about her kind. Error of their ways? What in ten hells did that imply? Sure, humans did tend to claim anything they saw, including the land where the current city was growing. But those men had no room to blame just humankind. They killed people whether they were innocents or not!

Kain forced himself to calm down and gently kissed Vos back, smiling at the end before slowly pulling away. "You're right. Maybe one day they will, but until then… I'll have to cull the herd," He reached forward to stroke his hands down Vos's arms, ending at gently holding Vos's hands in his.
This frightened Sora a bit. She could only guess that the "herd" referred to her kind. In order to make her escape however, she would have to wait until they were either more distracted, or further away.

Prowling through the sunlit woods, Anastasia blended perfectly into the shadows, taking to them like a duck to water. Stopping, head cocked, she listens to the voices. With a soft yip she calls her pack to her, always eager to greet their Alpha. Working her way towards the noise, with her dogs behind her, she analyzes the sounds. Two masculine, lovers from the way they were talking, and the faint breathing of someone else, probably female. Moving closer, she ducks under the cover of the brush, observing the goings ons with keen eyes.

Kain let his head fall and his shoulders relax from the attention Vos was giving him and he let out a soft sigh. He kept up with Vos's pace as they continued walking. The dappled pattern of sun and shade left Kain at ease, and maybe even a bit sleepy.
