Feliciana sighs as she walks towards her apartment. Supposedly, she was gaining a new roommate. She groans quietly and fumbles for her keys, shaking her head as she makes it to the small, white, door. "I'm home!" she calls to no one in particular. She sets her keys down in the key tray and throws off her boots next to the door.
Kaitlin was unpacking in her bedroom and when she head a voice, she popped her head into the main room, “Oh, H-Hi. You must be my roommate then…” She said, stepping out into the room and walking towards the girl.
Feliciana stops in her tracks when she sees the new… and rather cute… girl. "I'm guessing you're Kaitlin?" She asks, raising her eyebrow a little, folding her arms across her chest. She inspects the other, flipping some dark hair from her face. "I'm Feliciana. Just call me Feli." She extends her hand.
Kaitlin smiled softly and shook the others hand, “I-It’s nice to meet you, Feli. And you can call me Katie if you want.” She said, shrugging one shoulder. Feliciana was rather beautiful, extremely beautiful in fact. Katie blinked once to regain her composure.
"Alright, Katie it is then. It's nice meeting you too." She flashes a quick smile, a rare thing indeed, before walking to the couch, "This is your place, so make it feel as much like home as you want." She says looking up. "I have very simple rules though, don't ask about my traditions, and don't go into my room. Deal?" She asks, glancing at the other female.
Kaitlin nodded, “Deal. I’m just going to finish unpacking.” She said, giving a half smile before spinning on her heal, her ginger hair wiping around a little before heading back to her room to unpack.
Feli watches her go, a small smile working it's way to her lips. Her roommate was cute, shy, and gentle. Feli liked that. The female lays down on the couch, humming in thought as she does so. She crosses her legs and looks up at the ceiling, her eyes scanning the lightly colored walls.
Kaitlin hummed a little tune to herself as she finished unpacking the last of her boxes. She didn’t have a lot of things, so her room was simple and organised. She folded the boxes down and sat them in the corner. She’d take them out to the trash later. Putting on one of her oversized jumps, she walked back into the living room.
At the moment, Feli was drawing, her hair falling around her face, hiding her eyes from view. She seemed to be drawing a girl and a little boy holding the girls hand as a dog sat beside the girls leg. Her scribbling stops and she shuts her sketchbook. "Hey. All settled?" She asks, looking up.
Kaitlin nodded, “Yeah, I just have to take a few boxes out to the trash but I’ll do it later.” She said, sitting on one of the couches and bringing her knees to her chest, resting her head on her knees as she looked at Feli.
Feli nods and sets her sketch book down. Her cold eyes glance towards the other. "So. Where'd you come from?"She asks curiously, raising her eyebrow a little, a habit when she was curious.
Kaitlin stiffened a little, “N-No where special.” She replied, trying a smile but failing, “What about you?” She asked.
"France." She says, cracking her neck as she looks boredly at the black tv. She leans back in her chair and gives a small sigh. She noticed the others weird behavior but ignored it.
“Oh, I’ve always wanted to go to France.” Kaitlin said, sighing through her nose, “H-How long have you lived her?” She asked.
"About a year." She says casually, "France is pretty and all, but I like it here." She says, shrugging a little.
“Hm, yeah… it’s not bad.” She said, glancing at the other for a few moments before back to her knees.
"You okay? You keep looking at me then back at your knees. I'm not that scary am I?" she asks, laughing a little bit. Feli rarely laughed, so this was rather new to her.
Kaitlin smiled, “N-No, you’re not scary. I guess it’s just out of habit…” She admitted, shrugging one shoulder.
She chuckles, "At least I'm not scary." She looks at the smaller female. So… cute… and sweet… NO! Stop it! None of that falling in love nonsense.
“Yeah, definitely not scary,” She stood from the couch and walked over to the kitchen, “Do you have any tea?” She asked, looking back over at Feli and cocked her head to the side in question.
Feli nods and stands, stretching a little. "Top shelf, left cabinet above the stove." She says nonchalantly.
